Obviously any par 4 over 400 yards into the wind gives me trouble, sigh.

A good exercise - I've been thinking about having another wedge instead of the 3 iron seeing as how I don't use it much and the gaps in the wedges are quite big. Maybe 47, 51, 55, 59 combo.

Other than my wedges, I've put about 20-30 yards on every club this season. This is from a combination of delofting and pinching my irons a lot better, and hitting the gym hard (strength and flexibility training).

It looks as if most of the people posting are lieing because the average male golfer hits 218 yards and most of the people say they hit 250-300.

I completely agree. Either that or some incredible swing speeds. One guy is hitting his 6 iron farther than the average male hits his driver. Not saying its not possible, I've hit mine on from like 195, but that's with some wind.

For me it goes Driver- 260 down the middle average, catch on the screws probably closer to 285 3 wood Tee-250 Deck- 240 3 hybrid- 220 off tee 215 off deck, but i like easy swings on this a lot for like 200 yard par 3s, i aim for the pin and it lands soft as a butterfly. 4 iron 195 5 iron 185 6 iron 175 7 iron 165 8 iron 155 9 iron 145 PW 135 52 120 56 100 60 80

I also believe it's true that the average golfer hits his driver 220 yards or less, however because of that I do not automatically assumer everyone here is fibbing. The reason being I do not think that sandtrap members are average golfers. Average golfers, in the US, anyway are weekends warriors with offbrand clubs that are a decade old....the average golfer does not break 100. I think sandtrap members play on weekly basis if not more, and take the game a lot more serious, serious enough to join an internet forum dedicated to it. I would argue that the average sandtrap member is better than the average golfer.

I hit my clubs incredibly short... compared to even the shortest hitter on here.

driver ~ 160
3 wood ~ 140 of the deck (but inconsistent), never really hit it off the tee
3 hybrid ~ 140
5 iron ~ 135
7 iron ~ 120
9 iron ~ 105
SW ~ 90 (but not high like it should be, I hit 90 when I skull it.

These distances are for good, really solid hits.
