Head to the UK and play golf everyday at some of the worlds greatest golf courses. After I'm tired of that, I'd head to Australia and New Zealand for some more golf. Then I suppose I head back to US and start my trip around the country playing every course I come to when I come to it.

give 1 million to my High School. Another million to my College. Buy new or maybe payoff the loan for my cousin's houses. By gifts for people who helped me a lot.

Then I am out on the course :)

But winning a jackpot will never happened to me... if one day I get so rich, I'll do this myself anyway...

You just won the lottery worth 20 million US dollars! what would you do?

Here are the main actions that I would take:

1. Thank God, and make a pledge for annual contributions to my church in gratitude. 2. Give money to our 27 year old son (single) and 24 year old daughter (married) and establish a Trust for our granddaughter, THE RYLEIGH GIRL, ( 4 years old) 3. Build up my golf business from part-time to full time. NEVER "retire". I am Polish. We never retire. 4. Go back to the 9 hole public course that I tried to purchase over 10 years ago and buy it. It is where my late brother and I learned to play with our Dad.

close... but

With millions of dollars backing you, I'm sure you could get there.

And, you're right. I'd probably pick up a few places to sleep here and there. A nice apartment in Tokyo, Monaco and a cottage in Pinehurst.

Pay off some of my parents debt and the in-laws as well.

A cabin for vacation
And put the rest away and let it fund my golf addiction.

1. give my family money they need and pay off their bills
2. buy a house in the keys and a couple of kick-a$$ fishing boats (an open fisherman type for deepwater and a flats boat for inshore fishing)
3. buy a few cars (new Dodge Challenger, a 67 Shelby GT500, a Lamborghini, just to name a few)
4. buy a condo in Scottsdale for golf getaways and a home here in the Tampa/Orlando area
5. donate money to the local animal shelters

but in order for me to do that, i guess i would have to start playing the lottery....

First, it will never happen because I am too young and good looking to win the lottery. Plus I still have all my teeth! JK

If it did happen:
Buy a nice house not a mansion but something classy
Buy a summer house in MI so my wife can visit her family
Take care of the family
Join a decent country club
Play golf A LOT!

Pretty much play golf everyday while the kids are in school then family time when they are out.

Working in investment planning I've seen plenty of people with $20m+ liquid assets and leading very normal lives and to be honest if someone wrote me a cheque for $20m it wouldn't change my life massively.

I'd probably buy a couple of nice weekend cars (of the Aston Martin DB5 ilk) and take a year off to travel, plus travel several months of the year instead of several weeks. Also would get a Netjets account for US domestic travel.

I can also supply food to children in Africa and

I don't think $20m will stop that happening!

    • Yes, this is the 2024 model. DSG ruined what Callaway perfected for most golfers. A darn good 3 piece golf ball. Now it's a 2 piece cheap ball. To me a 2 piece ball is fine and a 3 piece budget ball is better. I prefer a slightly harder ball, something in the 65-75 compression range that will perform similar to the old Gamer. The Titleist tru-feel is pretty good. I planned on giving Maxfli straightfli a try.
    • Is that the current generation Gamer? Another old standby for a firm and inexpensive ball is Pinnacle.  There are two models, the Rush and the Soft, but I don’t know what compression they are.
    • Good advice, but according to DSG website it is a 45 compression ball. My current ball is the Top-flite Gamer at 70. 45 is too low for me to go.
    • The 3 piece Maxfli Trifli is 2 dozen for $35.  The Trifli does not feel as soft as the Maxfli Softfli, which is why I like it. Other options would be one of the Srixons, which have a buy 2 get 1 free offer.
    • I have been carrying a 7 wood more often this year.  It’s especially handy if you have a downhill lie to an uphill green.  It’s also handy if the rough on the course is deep.
