Went up to Erie for the first lesson of 2021! Just a summary of things I worked on.  Setup 1. Less upper body axis tilt 2. Less hands pushed forward 3. Weight more 50/50 Bet

Driving: +1.31 (2018 was kinda really good)
Approach: -1.5ish
Short Game: -2.10ish (YAY!!!!)
Putting: -1.4ish (I didn't really do much here but not three putt a lot). 

Overall, a better year for me. Looking forward to 2020. I just got to actually put some effort into it. I slacked off after September.  

What program are you using to calculate your strokes gained?

Out of commission for a while. I threw my back out this morning when I had a nasty coughing fit. Lower back is super tight.

That sucks big time. I hope you get well soon. I can't imagine that Akron's weather is too much worse than here and I managed to get two 9-holers in Monday and Tuesday. Being hurt when it is nice in January in Ohio is something that no golfer should have to deal with.

It's getting better fast. After it gets to a good point, I will get back on working out my core and back to protect it better.

Put myself on the 15 day IR. I had a kitchen accident with a mandolin, and took a chunk out of my right middle finger.

Ouch. Did you hurt yourself using it or washing it? The hand guard is pretty important.

Haha I can relate. Getting older ain’t fun. Coughing, sneezing, laughing, stretching a bit too far or the wrong way and I get a cramp!

Using it with out a hand guard 😜

I cut the tip of my thumb off once with a chef’s knife. I don’t rush through my cuts anymore.
