Not touching the second part of your statement ;) but I am totally like this as well.  I like underdogs and I like good competition, so I'm always rooting for the guys that are chasing.  (Good thing that my favorite sports teams always suck, so I never have to deviate from this philosophy :)) P.S.  Welcome to the forum!  Don't "drift" away.:-P

Thanks for the welcome and that's probably a smart move.

And that's Tiger's fault how?

And that's exactly my point, it's not even his fault!

I cheer on Nick Faldo and root against Jim Nance. How about fewer interviews with guys you met in car washes, fraternity brothers, people who nobody knows.

In this case, Hill got a two month suspension for his act. Hill wrote in his book teed off that some members of the disciplinary committee wanted him suspended for a year.

To go 180 degrees who I really like are Couples, any Irish golfer, Jim Furyk but mostly his caddy, and anybody with the guts to hang in there on any tour when it's tough and not looking good.

I don't know why people root against Furyk. He can take care of himself...

Yep.

Real loser. 40 million in career earnings and 20 million per year from TaylorMade adidas.

You've certainly nailed him. :-)

Woods for sure, Bubba and Webb too. Sergio just happens to be one of my favorites. Funny the way we all perceive personalities differently.

I would say Webb Simpson - the most vacant and insipid player on the tour. I have never heard him utter anything that his has come up with himself.

Check out his Twitter feed. OMG. All he does is retweet "inspirational" religious quotations.
