That's probably a good question that I'd love to answer - the problem is I don't really ask a lot of people. I just find what sensation or feeling works best for them, and go from that.

I think people who are right-handed often feel things more in their right hands (i.e. karate chopping with your left hand doesn't feel as strong as hitting with your right hand), or rolling your left wrist (#3 accumulator) will often not resonate as much with feeling the shaft flatter or the right palm more up, but that's more just what I think is generally true and not what I've actually measured or surveyed or anything like that.

Regarding first video.  Wish I could keep my left arm that straight throughout the swing.  Great lag and interesting follow through.

The one from over two years ago? Drill. Not a full swing. :-)

Thanks. These threads are good here (not just mine, heck, probably 100 others before mine). Glad to see you started one for yourself.

Thanks now go comment on it

Next up in line for Swing threads your daughter whose swing frames I see a few pages back.  She looks like she could smash a 5i further than my 3 wood

My kiddo (10 years old, bone age of a six year old, so she's tiny - she'll be fine, she'll just grow until she's 17 or 18 or 19 or whatever…) played in her second tournament today. Her first was yesterday. :)

The Jean Forsyth Tournament is in its 16th year or so. I think it used to be for 10-17 year olds, but for the past several years they've had 9-10 year old age groups.

Natalie (you've seen her swing earlier in the thread) played the first seven holes (starting on #5 tee) today. Seven other girls competed in the 9-10 year old age group.

Natalie played in a threesome, and each of the three groups had an "assistant" (a woman to help them keep score and so on). She's capable of it, but she's a bit advanced, so… :) Her threesome, it turns out, had the top three finishers.

Natalie shot 46. She beat the girl who finished in second by 12 (58). Her 46 is three strokes lower than the previous best score for seven holes in the 9-10 division.

She was happiest to get a plaque AND $20 in pro shop credit. She got the blue hat you can see in the one picture. :)

First and second place.

Natalie's plaque.

The hat she chose and her plaque. :)

P.S. Shorty, to be clear, I'm saying 46 for 7 holes, played from the legit red tees. :D

Yeah, well I'm looking at the non regulation odd socks. One orange and one green.

She can add 2 strokes for each hole she played in those. ;-)

Nice story. :-) Well done!

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

That's the fashion over here these days. I don't like it, but I've come to accept that it is.

Another tournament, another win:

That makes her two for two this summer.

P.S. I don't really like the positions of the golfers in either of her trophies.
