Take some responsibilty grow up and get a job.  If you want something don't expect that a bunch of people are going to give you what you want for free.  As for the legality of you getting a job that law is absolutely fake.  I started working 3 2hours a week when I was 13, all so I could buy myself a fancy hockey stick that I didn't want my parents to buy.

But what state do you live in sir? In my state it says you have to have a work permit before you are able to work at age minimum of 16. All state laws are different, since the Constitution gave hard federal laws to all, but then issued out rights to the states allowing them to make decisions on certain areas.

You mow lawns in the morning before it reaches 102.  As for gas, pay for the gas yourself out of your mowing earnings if dad won't foot the bill.  It's a tough world out there, but if you make the effort you'll earn what you want.  My parents didn't have a lot of money when I grew up.  If I wanted something bad enough I found a way to earn the money to get it.  Spend less time justifying yourself on here, and go knock on some doors.  I'm sure people would like their garage cleaned, yards weeded, pools cleaned, etc.

Set your sights lower, find a less exclusive club to caddy at.

So that means not only is the grass not growing at a consistent rate with the sunlight, but also it is just plain too hot out (right now it is 102 degrees.) I do work and I swear I am not a lazy kid. And no, there is no excuse to my parents "not letting me go" outside.

It is tough out there. I was working part-time at age 11 on a paper route and always worked, even through college. Work is different these days. Parents don't want their kids up at 4 am throwing a paper route or even throwing a paper route. But with a new era are new and different opportunities. Good luck.

Maybe you could sell your guitar for a driver.

Or start playing in the streets since it looks as though you are striving to be a look-a-like Justin Bieber.

So, if you work, how do you not have $50 for a driver?

Just plain too hot for you to work, eh?  Now I see what kind of kid we're dealing with here...
