If you are riding in a cart most courses will charge her the cart fee. If you are walking then most courses wont care.

I would call the course.  I know of some courses that won't allow it because of liability issues.  You would have a better chance if you went at a time when the course was less busy.

Are you going to play 9 or 18?  If it is her first time I would recommend only doing 9.  She will be more likely to enjoy and not get bored in 2 hours then 4 or 5.  If she has a good time you could try 18 but if if you do 18 to start and she gets tiered of it after 2 or 3 hours chances are you will never get her back out.

Ask her to meet you at the 19th hole ... it's best.

Pretty sure most courses have a spectator fee - that, like mentioned above, probably closely matched half the cart fee. $10 or $15.

But I'm with Mr. Desmond.  If she's not into golf then she's better off meeting you afterwards.  There's nothing very exciting about following around a bunch of cruddy golfers (no offense) for 4 hours.  I sense several "Honey, this is boring!!! :(((" comments in your future.

Good luck.

Depends on the course. I have a friend, older guy that can't golf anymore, tag along all the time. He enjoys being on the course and he does stuff, tend flag, grab wedges etc. Sometimes I bring him along as a designated driver. I don't take the chance with even one or two beers, not worth the hassle. I pay a fee for him if the course requires it.

Dave :-)

    • Day 430 - 2025-12-04 Slow motion backswings (with chippy shots) with AlmostGolf balls.
    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
