Not golf related but this is a pic of my little guy and I.

Tilden Steam Train - NICE!  I go there about twice a year with the kids when visiting family in Oakland. You play Tilden too?

Nice where was this taken, I have not been able to be in the water for about a year now due to my ear. Miss it every day!

I don't have any golf pics of myself yet....aside from the screencaps JetFan took of my swing. This is me and my wife, little guy is due in 3 weeks.

Love the note on the jar!

Funny ... there was a story on Yahoo earlier this week about a pro football player and his wife because she put this same picture of them on twitter.  I'm going to go waaaaay out on a limb here and say that his wife and your wife are both "Pinterest-ers?" ;)

So...is Crim a pro footballer or is his wife a polygamist? Polygamists should really stay away from posting pics on the web...

edit* Oh, wait, do you mean the same picture but with different people in it?

Yeah ours was taken and posted 4 or 5 months ago. A bunch of our friends called us up when the pro football player posted his. They were like "THEY STOLE YOUR IDEA!"

Ear = surfer's ear?  That sucks.

Then again, try being someone who likes surfing but lives in Oklahoma...  At least the golf is cheap!
Oh.. where are these amazing monstrous waves?  Bates beach - just north of Rincon Point (I grew up about an hour north of there). This was summer and the point wasn't breaking so I paddled out on my buddy's 11-footer! Not great surf, but it turned into a really fun day anyway.

No some infection that I can not get rid of and the doctors have no idea what it is?

Grew up in MB a mile from the water, moved to La Mesa right before HS still close. Miss it all the time living in LA sucks, I am sure middle America is hard for a beach boy!

    • Bryson got hit with a 2 shot penalty, after the round, for improving his lie on hole 5.  Here is a post on X, showing how he stepped on high grass when he was looking down his target line.  When they cut to the side shot, you can see how close he was behind the ball.  I think the R&A probably made the correct decision. You just have to be really careful when you are walking in the high grass, around the ball and where you are to make a swing.

    • Day 27 (17 July 26) - Normally an 18 hole day, but due to commitments abbreviated the round to 9 holes (played the back nine at home course).  Had a solid session where even the worst miss (tee shot off 18) was fully playable.  Shot a solid 39 (6pars, 3bogies) - not dbls, no three putts - just boring golf.
    • Overall, well said. People have to be very careful in trying to describe very complex problem in simple terms. In this case, it is a clear fundamental misunderstanding of Newton's 1st and 3rd laws.  To clarify more on the misinterpretation of Newton's 1st law. The exact interpretation of Newton's 1st Law....  "Every body continues in its state of rest, or of uniform motion in a straight line, unless it is compelled to change that state by forces impressed upon it" yea, a body will stay motionless unless a force acts upon it. An object will stay on its path of motion unless a force acts upon it.  I get it, complex physics problems are difficult. There is a lot of simplification done in most physics class when it is taught. A classic problem uses a frictionless surface. Projectile motion excludes drag and wind direction. Collisions are usually elastic. The golf swing is not a simple physics problem.  Yea, I think they got caught up the data on the graphs and are not truly understanding cause and effect.  If the golfer isn't first pushing into the ground, then the ground isn't going to push back.  The internal forces of the body create the motion, not the external forces from the ground. The ground isn't like what Psy uses to start his concert. 🤣 You probably need to be connected to the ground and have those GRF to help the body produce the motion you want. Your body has to move in the right way to produce the GRF which helps you move the body in the way you want. Body motion precedes the GRF.
