Nope.  Kim did a lot better.  Read the article below.

"Along with the Sunday death of North Korean leader Kim Jong il went one of the most fantastic records ever established in golf. The son of North Korea's founder died of a heart attack at age 69 - or 70 (his date of birth was either 1941 in Russia or, according to the official biography, in 1942 at a secret military camp on Baekdu Mountain in Japanese Korea). During his reign as the unquestioned, unchallenged leader of the secretive nation, Kim, according to official North Korean state media reports, routinely shot three or four holes-in-one per round of golf.

But in the 1990s - another moment in time when an event in North Korea varies (some say it happened in 1991 and others in 1994), the late dictator, then 50 (or 53) years old, set a golfing standard that will assuredly never be surpassed. It occurred at the grand opening of the Pyongyang Golf Complex, which contains North Korea's only 18-hole golf course. After picking up a golf club that day for the very first time in his life, the Dear Leader of the Democratic People's Republic of North Korea fired a 38-under-par round of 34 at Pyongyang. According to the 17 security guards who observed the performance, the score included an amazing 11 aces. Naturally, the event was dutifully reported to the North Korean masses by the state news agency."

Which is why I referenced it in the comment ;)

Hey guys, this is me standing next to my car...

(In case you missed it, that was a bit of sarcasm there)

While a picture may be worth a thousand words, it doesn't mean anything if all thousand of those words are filled with:

A) Baloney (possibility)

B) Self-righteousness (likely)

or

C) Narcissism (almost definitely) Ding ding ding

That's all? That means he had to have made a couple threes there. How disappointing for him to have let his country down by not making a two or less on every single hole.

It's the most serious form of personality disorder, and the hardest to fix.   Most refused to believe they have the disorder.  The good news is that only 1% total population is effected by it.  The bad news is they can function as normal and you may not recognize them as such until something happens.

Back to the topic - The Narcissist golfer (I did this, I did that, I screw that cart girl, I eagled par 600 yard hole, ...).

As usual can’t cope with the truth or see the point…It was not I who went on and on and on about spelling etc…It was you nice people. The "reason"... you could not put forward a constructive debate on the subject to hand.. You’re also the people who introduced the offensive trash...the act of a  Philistine I would add. Yet you still can’t or more likely won’t acknowledge where you fail. And fail you do...you have let your countrymen down big time with your crass and feeble minded language.

The car.....  (whatever it costs and you SOL know nothing! )  Was not the point. The POINT was that the ability to spell or punctuate is not an impairment to success. In addition to which I will add.   I will bet my IQ against any on this site.

PS: The bought and paid for car is my 4 MB following 5 BMW’s. et al.

And another thing SOL...According to the H/Cs I'm a better golfer than you. Suck on that buster.

What a sad old man

Lamboghini Veneno. Not sure about the price, since Lamborghini doesn't list that on its website, but you could call up a dealership and ask probably.

I believe it's one of those, "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" type of scenarios.  Me?  I'm in the, "I can't afford it, so I won't bother asking" camp.

I'm with you. They probably would just be annoyed by the fact that you wasted their time. That or they could be amused that you would have the audacity to do something like that.

If possessions indicate one's successes, we wouldn't have had the housing crisis.

Also, I'd argue that if you're in your 60s and not in a financial position to afford a $50,000 car, you probably didn't make a lot of great decisions. :-P

And I'd add that if you then proceed to buy one for $50,000 you probably didn't just make a great decision.

But then again, what the hell do I know?

    • Day 38 (18 Dec 25) - got out in the backyard with grandson this afternoon.  We got into a little game of pitching the ball from about 25yds to a target point just off the asphalt lane behind the backyard.  Goal - just clear it with a quick hop and stop.  Focused on using the wedge swing motion I was talking with the course pro yesterday….smooth and thru just bruising the grass.  In addition to a concentrated focus on technique, it also called for a quiet mind locked in on target point.  Rehearsed this with both the 50° and 55° wedges.
    • I listened to the Shaun Webb one about the swing coach app. Sounds like a great thing and will (hopefully) be very useful for me. I do think the hosts are underestimating where AI could be in a few years. Right now it's just regurgitating stuff that it has been told or it has scrubbed from somewhere else and a human guiding things will be quite a lot more helpful than just the AI, but it's going to keep developing and it will reach the stage where it's figuring this stuff out on its own. Time will come when it will have you do a TPI style screen and take various height/arm length/leg length etc. measurements, have you tell it some history and your time constraints and goals and what not and it will watch a video of your swing face on and DTL and it will know exactly what you need to work on.
