You never had to read it in high school or anything? One of my favorite books ever.

I think Ken Kesey may have still been considered an Enemy of the State when I was in high school. He sure as **** wasn't on the approved reading list. :-$ Have you read any of Kesey's other books? Sailor Song was pretty good.

Yours in earnest, Jason.

I've read some of Sailor Song, not sure if I ever finished it.

Now this is Batman!

Looks like they are going more old school with this new one. Excited to see how it turns out. Though I am not a big Ben Affleck fan, it is BATMAN!!!

Look for the mug shot of good looking monster Godzilla at the end. Smile Godzilla! You wanna make a good impression on match.com don't ya? I'm Gozilla, single, and plan on sending the earth back to the stone age. Looking for companion with similar hobbies.

Godzilla is directed by Gareth Edwards, who directed Monsters, my favorite low budget indie monster movie. Tap in birdie.

Godzilla was good, but not as good as the trailers made it out to be. Oh well. Entertaining, but was hoping for more. Tap in par.

Godzilla gets a par on an easy par 4 from me. I won't spoil it for anyone but was not a fan of what happened about half way through the movie, for a number of reasons. I did like the "twist" they did with Godzilla and thought the film looked great.

I think I know what you're talking about. I was disappointed in that as well.

Just saw Lone Survivor . Definite birdie for me.

Hindsight is 20/20, but I think there was a 4th option: Take the goat herders with you up the mountain until you can establish communications with base. Once that happens, cut 'em loose. That way, there's more distance for the herders to travel back down to alert the Taliban, and the choppers have more time to get to your position before the shit goes down.

20/20 though. And in life, you can't go back, so my point is moot.

Sad story.

I admittedly am sick and tired of super hero movies, but this piques my interest. Tyrion Lannister w/a seventies haircut!

I just finished watching this. It's good, but not in the same caliber as The Winter Soldier. Most of the cast did a great job in their roles, particularly Fassbender and McAvoy. I'm still confused about how Shadowcat can send someone back in time. I give it a par. And that's with my handicap taking two strokes off the score for Wolverine being the most overused and overexposed mutant ever. I'm glad it's Hugh Jackman in the role. Anyone else and I'd probably hate it more. Am I the only one who thinks Jennifer Lawrence isn't all that and a bag of chips?

Obviously, my opinion is in the minority. There was a great scene in the movie with Quicksilver that was worth the price of admission alone.

    • Day 66: Played 18! Wasn't really keeping track of score, but guessing in the low 80s. Driving okay, iron play up and down, lagging putting really bad. Overall, it was good to get out and play.
    • Day 41 - 2026-01-30 More backswing and grip work on the mat / net. Also some mirror time focused on trail weight.
    • Day 12 (30 Jan 26) -  Had hoped the men’s group would be playing, but the cold temps and delayed opening kept them at bay. Spent some time on the range working on loading the trail foot on the backswing (focusing on loading the inner portion of the foot and collapsing the knee slightly toward the ball). Learned too much really brought on a left pull.  Easing back a bit, really helped compressing the ball and overall accuracy.  Took it to the course for a practice round, focusing on this small change.  Saw better dispersion across the bag….guess this will be part of the mirror work drills as snowpacolypse 2 hits eastern NC.
    • I’d go with the Titleist if you liked the look of the blades but were suffering with distance. They should be a little more forgiving than a full blade and still retain some workability. Also remember to consider the shafts each have as this will be a big contributor to how they feel. Clemsonfan is right though… get fit or spend a bit of time on a launch monitor 🤙
    • Day 28: 2026.01.30 Managed to make time for a few swings out back today. Need a proper bit of range time this weekend.
