So will Tiger still make the trip to attend the Champions Dinner?

Great question actually. I'd love to hear that he made it.

I havent heard any talk of Tiger being  in Augusta...

I would guess he is rehabing and not traveling to the dinner.

Did you hear McIlroy's interview?

Reporter: "What do you think of your group?"

McIlroy: "There's no top 5 players in the world in it."

Amazing quote, I want Rory to win now solely because of that.

Rory always has great pressers.

He is actually honest and candid, not just full of stock quotes to get it over with.

Sorry, but I don't follow.  Huh?

How in the world would you know that?  And what year did that supposedly happen?

I'm glad I could educate you - as you clearly didn't have any knowledge of old winners being asked to not play.

Haha. I was aware that they had asked certain players in the past knots to play when they get older which is what my link and the real story describes. You said that they were sending letters to these players which the link also cruise is wrong. So I'm glad I could educate you.
I'm glad I could educate you - as you clearly didn't have any knowledge of old winners being asked to not play.
Ha ha. I was aware that they had asked certain players to not play any longer, but I questioned whether or not they actually sent everyone letters (Like the players I mentioned in my post) and you said "they got their letters", which we now know you were completely wrong about. They sent letters to 3 players, and that started the conversation about guidelines involving participation. But hey, you can continue to pretend you knew how it worked if you want. I won't tell anyone. Just hope they don't actually read the last couple pages of this thread because it's pretty obvious how the conversation went. It's all there. P.S.- Are you going to post that link from the Augusta Chronicle you referenced that discusses how upset Nicklaus, Palmer, and Player were when they RECEIVED their letters?? I'll check back for it. :-P Now let's get back to some real discussion about this year's tournament.

Is anyone else getting kinda of tired of hearing Brandle rag on the players who are out on the driving range practicing..?

Funny how Brad F. is now doing some commentary, wonder where Frank N. went...?

Anyone see Phil's presser from today? He raised something pretty interesting at around the 8:30 minute mark, saying that in the last 6 or 7 years since they've lengthened the course, that he's not had a single shot between 90 and 130 yards. Hence why he has two free clubs as he can take gap wedge and sand wedge out of the bag.

I'm not sure if he's exaggerating slightly, I'd think for sure that over that period of time he's chipped out or layer up to that yardage at some stage, but regardless it's pretty fascinating. I wonder if other player's have noticed a similar thing? Pretty ballsy move to flat out get rid of those two clubs, he did say he might end up keeping one of the two just because he doesn't feel the need to add another club. Would be pretty funny to see him trying to bash a lob wedge 120 coming down the stretch on Sunday after misjudging a lay up or chip out.

Ya I watched that today, very interesting indeed. Just goes to show you, the pros can play the exact yardages every single time!

I thought his press conf was great today, love how he laughed about his 2" vertical leap after he sunk that putt when he won his first Masters. That was funny!

So who are your sleeper picks this week? I'm going with Graham DeLaet, Marc Leishman, and Billy Horschel.

So who are your sleeper picks this week?

Just watching "Live From" and they said that Ricky Fowler "blitzed" Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson in a competitive practice round today by recording 9 birdies and an eagle.  NINE BIRDIES AND AN EAGLE!!

I would love to see him win this week!!!

I saw that too. If I hadn't picked Jason Day to win, Ricky is the dude I'd like to see get a green jacket.
