Here's a little clip of Milan Lucic being his douchey-self.  Such a scum-bag, such a prototypical Bruin. No class.

Terrible cheap shot. I wish they would suspend him a game for that to make a point. Spearing in the nuts is not part of the game,

Agreed. Hate this part of the game. Don't care for the stupid shit in football either (or TD celebrations).

I'm not defending Lucic, but compared to vintage Chris Pronger that isn't much.

$5k? That's pocket change for him. What a joke. He'll probably do it again.

Tell that to to the Canadians I grew up playing against in Ontario. I'm relatively surprised I had a child after that bullsh*t.

LOL! :-D Do you remember what teams you played against? There are a lot of dirty teams in the GTHL (Greater Toronto Hockey League).

Just high school hockey, I'm from northern Minnesota and we played against all the teams near the border. Fort Francis, Thunder Bay, etc. It was definitely I different style of hockey than we were used to. Made us tough though, haha. The hometown refs for those teams were notorious for "not seeing" anything. That style of play eventually got ingrained into us too and when we went back across the border to play against American teams we would get a ton of penalties.

The Blackhawks game yesterday was pathetic. Slashing all over the place and classless plays, including this one. "Wakey wakey Backes! Wakey wakey!" Keith and Seabrook are idiots. I hope the Blackhawks get swept. Edit: I guess NBC didn't have the audio but that's what Keith said to Backes after the hit by Seabrook. I heard it on Canada's broadcast.

@tmac20 That was a classless play by Seabrook. Glad STL won, and it looks like Seabrook is getting a 3 game suspension. Good move by the league, but I wish it was at least 5 to ensure he doesn't come back during this series.

Nice comeback by the Flyers after that mess in game 1. Good to see the rookie Akeson get a big goal after his royal screwup in game.1.

Gonna be rockin' in Philly tomorrow night.

From quality of play so far it looks like Montréal is the team to beat in the East and San Jose is the team to beat in the West.

Yep. They have to stick to the team concept and not get sucked into another team's game but they're looking good right now. They need Carey at the top of his game though because not every team will play like Tampa. I'm hoping Boston comes out on top against Detroit because the HABS feast on Boston in the playoffs. Big fan of @boogielicious but I'm looking forward to pooping in his Cheerios come round 2!

    • Hello Golfing Buddies, It has been awhile since I posted but I am the Retired Old Man that asked for advice because I suffered two "T.I.A.'s about switching from playing right handed to playing left handed.  I purchased a Callaway Edge Left handed golf clubs. I changed the grips to oversize grips.  Well, two weeks ago and still at 79 years old, I shot a 44 and 47 on a small course in my hometown.  I am currently changing my shafts from regular flex to Senior flex.  So, you can see' it can be done! So, you other old timers; get with the program! Blessings to all of you. Retired Old Man (Terry Warner)

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.

    • I'm currently recuperating from surgery, so no golf, but have been thinking about this quite a bit. This and the don't overbend the right arm thing. It's hard for me to even pose the position, so I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like it's impossible to have the right humerus along the shirt seam and not overbend your right arm, unless your hands are down near your hips. If the left arm is up at or above the shoulder plane and your right arm is bent less than 90 degrees, then your right humerus has to raise or your hands will get pulled apart. Your left hand can't reach your right hand unless either the right upper arm is up or the right arm is overbent. Is that right? If it is, then focusing on not overbending the right arm would force you to raise the humerus. And actually thinking further on it, if you do overbend your right arm, then you're basically forcing your upper arm down or forcing your left arm to bend. Since (for me at least) bending the left arm too much is not something I think I need to worry about, it means that the bend in the trail arm is really the driving force behind what happens to the right humerus.
