Until your YouTube account is limited for copyright violations.

Yeah, I've been flagged for putting up the opening credits of tournament broadcasts so I deleted them but they haven't flagged the close up high frame rate videos. Yet. :-)

How do they limit your account?

No unlisted videos, no longer than 15 minute videos, some other things. If you get two or three strikes they can just close your account. Others are limited for 6 months or so.

What a disappointing birdie that's going to be for Kenny Perry.

6 months in the doghouse? That's harsh. I'll delete any offending vids right away. Kaymer carrying two 3 irons. http://mobile.golfweek.com/news/2014/jun/14/martin-kaymer-us-open-2014-golf-equipment-3-irons/?templates=mobile

Rooting for Rickie today. Good for the game. But it's Kaymer's to lose, and I highly doubt he will.

Kaymer is killing people with the long par putts.

He's making all the putts that many of the people you spoke to a few months ago think they make regularly. ;-)

That was bad.

Fowler skulling the ball over the green?  That was hilarious, the announcers and crowd act like someone just slapped a baby.

Don't you know that everyone has a 90% make percentage on par putts over 10 feet, which rises to 95% when the putt is longer than 20 feet. It's like how everyone can carry it 308 onto the third green like Kaymer did, but with a 3-wood instead (and theirs would hit a slope and spin back in for a hole in one like that one guy said). Also, that was an unfortunate shot by Ricky Fowler when he caught it clean on his third while he meant to hit a bunker shot.
I don't know if they ever showed a graphic for this, but has there ever been a golfer to win on Mother's Day and Father's Day in the same year?
Nobody has, because they talked about nobody winning the Player's and the US Open in the same year. The Players usually ends on Mother's Day if I remember correctly. If not, I am completely wrong and apologize for the misinformation.

aA great lesson today for all those people who say they always hit their wedge from around the green. Kaymer eliminates the skull or chunk with his putter. Smart play and proof that lowest score comes from smartest play.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

Rickie has put himself in contention before but has had bad final rounds. That's the reason why I wasn't very optimistic about him today. Reminds me of Sergio on Sundays.

    • Bryson got hit with a 2 shot penalty, after the round, for improving his lie on hole 5.  Here is a post on X, showing how he stepped on high grass when he was looking down his target line.  When they cut to the side shot, you can see how close he was behind the ball.  I think the R&A probably made the correct decision. You just have to be really careful when you are walking in the high grass, around the ball and where you are to make a swing.

    • Day 27 (17 July 26) - Normally an 18 hole day, but due to commitments abbreviated the round to 9 holes (played the back nine at home course).  Had a solid session where even the worst miss (tee shot off 18) was fully playable.  Shot a solid 39 (6pars, 3bogies) - not dbls, no three putts - just boring golf.
    • Overall, well said. People have to be very careful in trying to describe very complex problem in simple terms. In this case, it is a clear fundamental misunderstanding of Newton's 1st and 3rd laws.  To clarify more on the misinterpretation of Newton's 1st law. The exact interpretation of Newton's 1st Law....  "Every body continues in its state of rest, or of uniform motion in a straight line, unless it is compelled to change that state by forces impressed upon it" yea, a body will stay motionless unless a force acts upon it. An object will stay on its path of motion unless a force acts upon it.  I get it, complex physics problems are difficult. There is a lot of simplification done in most physics class when it is taught. A classic problem uses a frictionless surface. Projectile motion excludes drag and wind direction. Collisions are usually elastic. The golf swing is not a simple physics problem.  Yea, I think they got caught up the data on the graphs and are not truly understanding cause and effect.  If the golfer isn't first pushing into the ground, then the ground isn't going to push back.  The internal forces of the body create the motion, not the external forces from the ground. The ground isn't like what Psy uses to start his concert. 🤣 You probably need to be connected to the ground and have those GRF to help the body produce the motion you want. Your body has to move in the right way to produce the GRF which helps you move the body in the way you want. Body motion precedes the GRF.
