Oh the second one.

I reckon Mickelson at 10/1 is great value (despite all the rude things I've said about him)

Phil and Rickie would be the two capable of getting on a role, which you sense someone has to, but equally, I reckon I'd be prepared to lay Rory a bit bigger than some of the odds on prices. In any event, we've still got Ashley to run onto the tee pbox and pin him to the deck yet

The frightening thing though, is that he played poorly today and still returned the score that he did. It actually seems wrong that the course has allowed him to do that

This just in: @saevel25 is really PGA of America commissioner Ted Bishop. He fixed the PGA so he could snag some free balls.

You wonder where this game from Weisberger is coming from. Outside of a couple 2nd place finishes in small Euro Tour events, he's not exactly been lighting it up: www.owgr.com/en/Ranking/PlayerProfile.aspx?playerID=9531

Anyone know what the record number of players hitting four rounds under 70 each is for a major? Currently nine left standing - including super Joost as the last one on the list

Absolutely no idea. I know the US Open has only had four, no idea about the PGA. Good find though, go Super Joost.

I picked Rory -17 at Hoylake and hit it right on the button (got DQ'd, though). That being said, I'm rooting for Rickie tomorrow because I got 12 bucks on him at 22-1 so I'm hoping he can rally.

No next time for me. I'm not doing any more contests. I was pretty heated after that. But if you have Rory at -17, your in great shape.

What's to lose doing another contest yo? It's not like you're betting money..

Phenomenal day today. A few guys could have easily shot lower scores than they did. Someone is going to shoot a low round tomorrow, so I don';t think this one is totally over just yet.

On a terrible side note. My putting cost me a really good score today. Missed two five footers and had two 18-20 footers come up one revolution short in the cup. You guys need to pray for me so that this doesn't repeat itself tomorrow! :bugout:

Speaking of betting $$, I actually took the money I won from betting Rory at Hoylake and put it to a new driver haha.

Would like to see them move tee times up an hour tomorrow. I thought theyd learn from the 2005 PGA Championship and the Players Championship (which they barely finished). A 60% chance of storms tomorrow with the last group going off at 3. Hopefully they dodge a bullet, but if there's a big storm that causes an hour delay, get ready for Monday golf.

The course is really favoring the long hitters and it's likely not to change given the weather report.  Would be fun to see Phil and Rickie catch Rory and see who's the best at throwing darts.

Man, I'm golfing tomorrow afternoon.  I guess I'll have to DVR it and avoid all sports radio on the way home.

I'll be in the same boat. Just have to avoid anyone until I get home... Plus I skip all the stupid commercials. Rory's driving is so stinking impressive. Putting drives in the middle of the middle of the middle of the fairway at will. Plus 340 yard shots make it even more amazing.

    • Day 430 - 2025-12-04 Slow motion backswings (with chippy shots) with AlmostGolf balls.
    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
