How many guys do you have confirmed for 5/24?  Would it blow up the outing if I backed out?  This move is a lot more work than I expected it to be.  I might still be painting by the time 5/24 comes around.

Did we confirm 5/24? I haven't marked it on my calendar yet. I want to make sure I am able to attend.

At present it sounds like we have 7. Me, GD, pakoh, Mvmac, shindig, you and Barrett. If we end up with 8 total, it might be fun to tweak the format a bit. I'm thinking a mini Ryder cup where we do a match play against someone of similar hcp. Barrett vs. Mike Drew vs. pakoh Etc... Thoughts?

Ok, I just heard back from Industry Hills today... they said $74 for the Babe course or $95 for the Ike... The Ike tends to be everybody's favorite, although IMO, the Babe is just as good. Considering that it is $20 less for the Babe, I think we should go that way unless there are any objections.

Ideally, I'd like to see this get to 12 players. I know that at one point, @jefkve was interested; not sure if that still is the case. Tagging @Beachcomber , @GolfSwine , @BENtSwing , @k-troop , @mdl , @justtapitin . If you guys can think of anybody else that would like to play, tag 'em here and lets see what we can do. I'd like to send a reply back to the course by the end of the week to let them know how many groups we'll need.

What's the start time? It'll be a 2 hour drive for me but doable. We get back from our Phoenix trip on Saturday. BTW I'll need some help on my HCP. I've played 3 entire rounds of golf in 2015. Will probably have 2 more under my belt by 24 May.

Thanks Tristan. Looking forward to it. If we are stuck at 10-11 players, I can usually rustle up a buddy to join, but I'll save that for a last resort in the hopes that we can fill 3 groups with TST members.

      Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.

      Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.

      That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.

      Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
