Nope, and I have  played the Superstition Springs, and Mountain courses. When I was much younger a few of us in our geology class spent a week hiking around "The Superstitions".

I just believe you get what you hit when it comes to golf.

No.  Just no # 2 balls.  Been doing it since my days of playing Wilson Kro-Flites.

I am showing my age.

I like the other numbers.

I'll take all of the #2 balls off of your hands. For free, even. You must have a lot of them laying around.

Superstitions are dumb.

Guys, let's stay on topic, please.

Haven't really played enough golf yet to know what superstitions/rituals I will end up having, except that I want a fresh nail polish on and don't wear shoes at the driving range at all. Gotta get my toes in that grass.

Massively superstitious. Everything has to be the same every time I play and if one tiny thing goes wrong at any time I start all over again. One thing I will say is that it makes me play slowly and is quite embarrassing when you play with people you don't know and isn't something really to talk about. I personally think that the majority of pros would also be superstitious as well in my opinion.

Agreed. If you are superstitious, it at least lets me know that I am dealing with someone who has issues...

On my home course, missing right is OB, do I put my left shoe on first in the hope that the ball will go left. It seems to work, haven't gone OB in two years on the hole

My advice: You might want to start with a customary superstition like avoiding a certain color to see if that works for you. Other people avoid spicy foods or exotic stews the evening before a round.

For example: I never wear green to play golf.

Re: Nail Polish

I would see you in Blossom Bright nail polish by Estee Lauder.

Limited edition color.

Best of luck choosing the superstition that works for you.

Superstitious? No but definitely a creature of habit. Besides I live at 1313, have a black cat, walk under ladders and I once opened my golf umbrella INDOORS.

I'm not superstitious but I won't putt until the hole is empty.  If you hole out before me you need take you ball out of the cup and if you don't I'll ask you to before I putt.
