That's one stroke gained by the chaser.

It'll be interesting to see what happens if Rose is able to close it to within 1 b/c of a birdie by him and a bogey by Speith.

Rose is tough. He ruined Phil's dream at Merion. He has the look of ruining Jordan's at Augusta. The guy has experience and has the type of game to win multiple majors.

Not small in height, hes a wirery guy with a ton of power. I put him in the long hitters section of golf and people look at me funny. You don't need to be Rory or Tigers size to hit it a mile.


Last time I checked Tiger weighed in at 185# and Rory at 160#. So if Rose is 6'3" and 180#, what are you trying to say?

Spieth can putt from long distances.  I've never seen anyone so comfortable with long putts like he is.

Wonder if that sparks serious rule change talks about the golf ball and club technology. Its really snowballing at this point. I know Jack has been a major proponent of dialing back the ball for years now.

      Day 200 3-4 Wider back swing, arms up a bit higher, and added in some flow work to start getting a since of a full swing. Still focusing on arching wrist through downswing.

      It's going to be very difficult for the 2026 Masters to match the 2025 edition for storyline. I honestly don't know that anyone else in the field could match the story of Rory finally winning after so many years and the blow ups over the years, not to mention the career slam being completed. No one this year that I can think of is remotely close to that kind of story. Combine that with the attempts at blow ups last year (Double on the 1st, 13, 18 on first try) and the stunningly good shots that he hit in the final round (7, 15, 17, 18 on second try).  Full gamut: https://www.masters.com/en_US/watch/2025-04-13/17445961638226475/every_single_shot_from_rory_mcilroys_final_round.html
