I see he is banned now.  Did he come out of the penalty box swinging or what?

He started a "Ok now I'll come clean" thread revealing his true intentions for trolling the site.

In light of these recent findings of jcjim's inner troll, I would like to retract my apology about not being able to take him more seriously if he were wearing clown shoes.  Evidently that was a correct assessment.

Being an a$$hole on purpose to see what kind of reaction he'd get from other members and moderators. Said it's for an article he's writing on forums.

I think it's BS and he's making it up. Like his attempt to "out" us for the copyright stuff after someone posted a study to prove he's wrong in the tax thread.

Well then we should get some positive feedback given the restraint we demonstrated while he was being a complete tool.

Mods may want to check out this HonestyPolicy dude in the cheating thread. Sounds an awful lot like jcjim and appears to have shown up close to when jcjim was banned.

I'll just add that if you've ever read many of the threads on non-golf topics, particularly religion and politics, Erik and Mike and the moderators have a very liberal definition of civil.  You can frankly say some stuff that would very likely not be considered civil in person, but as long as it's loosely interpretable as making an argument or (re)stating an opinion and doesn't contain any bald name-calling, it'll slide.

So if civil has too wobbly a definition for you, try just refraining from name-calling.  You'll probably be fine, moderation wise at least...

He said we were one of the most "penile" forums.

Did he mean "puerile" or "penal"?

Maybe he should be in the penile box for being puerile. :-)

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

We rarely even read the OT threads, actually. ;-)

Haha, he might not see it that way.

He said we were one of the most "penile" forums.

Yeah guys, he actually said "outwardly penile" :-$

try just refraining from name-calling.

That's basically all we ask, debate is fine and even encouraged), just don't get into personal attacks or troll the site.

    • Now you may not agree with these but once you get the speed dialed, super fast, true rolling greens yield a lot more holed putts from 10-15 feet range = birdies. Also, the rough wasn't terribly penal. On a separate note, it seemed Berger tried to cash in on his lead. Didn't play bad or anything but you could tell dude had already blown his load the first two days. And then Akshay stepped up. I mean the dart for the eagle was ridiculous.  Fun watch in a long time.
    • Day 1 (9 Mar 26) - starting up again with a week layoff due to travels.  Played with the men’s group for the Monday shootout.  Was good to play, had some rust especially the long game, especially getting proper weight shift.
    • Day 204 3-9 Wrist arch through downswing and getting wider with backswing. Need to continue working on getting trail arm "reconnected" as it still seems a bit off with wider backswing.
    • Saw these today, this is a scam.  Joined in 2026.  Click his name and then his profile.  2 posts, no friends, one item for sale.  These clubs are probably takes from Temu. Facebook
    • Range again today. A few freezers and a few smoothies. If I add a little speed I swing further arms go deeper and lower and more across again. Really like where this freezer got to on backswing:   This is a smoothie (ish). Clubhead tracks up the hands nicely but the things go a bit wrong: At normal speed: Lastly one shortish pitch shot. Pitching some days I come out and can drop it on the flag. Other days it’s going sideways. Like missing right or left by 10 yards from 50 yards and nothing in between. I suspect it’s from the hands coming out and the cut across. If I release it on that line it’s going left. If I hold it off it’s going right and then it’s timing. When it’s off it’s off. Feels like if I can get that under control it will tighten up a lot.
