Happy Birthday Thread!

First two words I said to her this morning. I have no f***ing idea how she’s 18! What the hell? I mean, I grappled with the idea that she was a senior, and that seemed fine to me. Seemed normal, etc. I mean, she played four years of high school golf, so that didn’t sneak up on me.

But somehow, 18 did. I don’t remember being as young as she is when I was 18. I feel like the timeline is out of whack, even though senior year, college stuff, etc. all make sense.

Note: To clarify, the first two words were “happy birthday,” not “I have…”.

As my children aged, I experienced the same thing but adding that I'm not that old to have children that are that old!    Time has a way of sneaking up on us!  

I hope her birthday was memorable and she enjoyed the day.   My wife says women get birthday months but don't tell @NatalieB.
