They look like dickheads

Lol, yeah that's some pretty ugly gold attire. Even Payne stewart looked better than this Nike stuff.

The shoes I kinda like. They'd look good with long pants. Not a fan of the tights with shorts or joggers.

In my bag:

Driver: Titleist TSi3 | 15º 3-Wood: Ping G410 | 17º 2-Hybrid: Ping G410 | 19º 3-Iron: TaylorMade GAPR Lo |4-PW Irons: Nike VR Pro Combo | 54º SW, 60º LW: Titleist Vokey SM8 | Putter: Odyssey Toulon Las Vegas H7

I'd like them to create solar leggings like they have solar sleeves. I don't like using sunblock, so slip on leggings would be great. I currently wear pants for every round, but I imagine shorts plus leggings might be cooler (temperature).

Suprised they arent tucking the pants into their socks like the Chav's do here in the UK. What next, Golf hoodies?

In the bag: Driver: Ping G5 , Woods:Dunlop NZ9, 4 Hybrid: Tayormade Burner, 4-SW: Hippo Beast Bi-Metal , Wedges: Wilson 1200, Putter: Cleveland Smartsquare Blade, Ball: AD333

The high tops work for me, but not the rest.  For me the shoes are about what works and comfortable for walking and good gripping for your golf swing.

What's in the bag

  • Taylor Made r5 dual Draw 9.5* (stiff)
  • Cobra Baffler 4H (stiff)
  • Taylor Made RAC OS 6-9,P,S (regular)
  • Golden Bear LD5.0 60* (regular)
  • Aidia Z-009 Putter
  • Inesis Tour 900 golf ball

Golf hoodies have been around for a while. I have two Slazenger hoodies and a Titleist hoodie I bought in 2013.

Not for me but, then again, I don't think I'm the target age/market they're after either with this look.

Count me in the crowd that wouldn't wear most of this, but don't mind the look.  This stuff looks more club-appropriate than most of what Rickie Fowler wears.

I never thought I'd be a skinny pants guy, but I bought some Trav Mathews pants last year and absolutely love them.  I have an athletic build and skinny was never comfortable, but with modern fabrics the closer cuts actually feel great.  Now when I put on my old J.Crew khakis I think they look ridiculous with all of the extra fabric.

In a word, "no".  Nothing more foolish than an old man trying to look young.  This style isn't for me.

Pretty handy the hood is nice to have when it's windy and the bulk keeps neck warm on cooler days.

    • Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.
    • Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.
    • That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.
    • Day 19, 1/19.  Finished work in time to spend 25 minutes hitting balls (hit 15) indoors, off a mat, into the net.  Usual focus.
    • Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
