I would.  Just because an uninformed guess happens to be right doesn't mean it still isn't an uninformed guess.

Also he is running for president, his views and in this case thoughts are displayed for the world to see.  He faces the same scrutiny any other high level politician would face for jumping the gun, especially if he turns out to be wrong.  He can comment as he sees fit, but he definitely has more obligations than your average citizen at this point in the game.

That's true and in this new capacity, he took time enough to warn our enemies that he'll be gunning for them.  It's a refreshing change from the tip-toe, apologetic tone of the current administration.  Trump knows what he's doing.

You mean like the "uninformed guess" that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton provided to the nation during Benghazi that the people who overran the embassy were protesters of a movie and not terrorists?

I don't particularly care about Clinton in this case...nor do I care about her in general.  This particular issue doesn't involve her so bringing her up only deflects the issue.

If you want to go that route you can use you're ability to overlook Trump's gaffes and yet nail Clinton's on it as hypocrisy, but honestly I am so fed up with both of the presumptive candidates I don't care.

I agree, I'm pretty sure the UK didn't solicit our opinion when they voted in their new Mayor so why should we care what they think.

Point is, Clinton had intelligence and intentionally misled the public.  Trump is giving an opinion just like we all are.  

If Obama decided to brief Trump and the official position was that we still don't know if it was terrorists and Trump went forward and blamed terrorists anyway then you'd be right in accusing him of being non-presidential.

Opinions usually begin with "In my opinion", or "I think". his statement has none of that!
He is declaring fact. He and declaring you wrong for not agreeing with him.
He does not have any information.
And what happens if as president he finds himself in a Benghazi situation?
What happens when he starts to blurt his opinion when it differs from the facts he has or has not been provided?

People still ride Obama for stating " If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor "

This is wrong. This attitude is why the USA is no longer such a revered nation. No other nation considers "what will American think of him" when they elect a new leader, why should we? That is a defeatist mentality, giving control of our nation over to the opinion of others. 

Why do you think Trump is so popular? Because his entire campaign is about putting the USA ahead of other nations. It is resonating.

You can put America first without being perceived as a political clown. Right now the way he acts makes him look very unprofessional. That is his appeal with a lot of the people who vote for him. Yet it doesn't discredit that he looks unprofessional. 

As you said previously, he needs to switch gears to looking more presidential. Yet he's has not.

The US has a big habit of being very insular. UK does have a stake in this game. No matter what people say, we are allies with a lot of countries. Since we are the most powerful nation in the world, our footsteps cause bigger waves than all other countries. In that regard we might not care who runs the UK because we are way more powerful than they are. Yet, they absolutely should care who our President is. 

I have no issue with them voicing their opinion on it. 

I rather take facts over opinions :)

Not sure Trump's is concerned with anything but Trump. I don't doubt he'd like to get elected and be a great POTUS but the jury is still out whether his optimism and reality will ever collide. Cruz, Rubio and Bush weren't wrong when they said he is a democrat masquerading as a republican and now that he is the presumptive nominee he is starting to shift more right. He's gone on record in the past about things like gun control and other issues and he's way right of where he once was. My fear isn't that people can't have a change of heart so much as it's evident he'll say whatever he needs to. He's still very iffy with specific policy talk, he gives the cliff notes version or steers the topic in a different direction when questioned. He reading POTUS For Dummies or something.

Trump isn't POTUS, he's not in the military nor is he an elected official.  He has no greater insight than any of us, and if you give his opinion more credibility than your neighbor that's on you.

When Obama said "If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor" he was POTUS and he was lying to our faces in order to get his health care bill passed.   He knew damn well he was lying, he said what he had to in order to secure his legacy.
