FS1 and FS2 both show no replay of the usopen.

I do like more shot tracers that Fox likes to deploy. Joe buck however ruins everything he touches.

That's what I really liked about ESPN's stream of The Open, it's available for streaming, each individual round, the whole thing, you can jump and go back to any point of the round, during the championship.

Fox streamed fine for me yesterday. Today, it is totally unreliable.

Morning: 75.22, Afternoon: 73.27

Drive that hole!

God I miss this theme. And not a Yanni fan. Fox's openings don't have the drama that NBC did.

i get what this piece is going for, it just isn't doing it for me.

If he shoots another 67, hes sitting pretty and will prolly have at least a 3-shot lead going into weekend. But we learned from Sf Andrews last year that he can lose control fast.

Seems like folk are very upset with Jamie Donaldson, FFS it's not like he killed a child or s'thing :-\

Birdies seem to be falling more in bunches this afternoon. Shortened a few holes and put some friendly pin positions.

I really like the sidebar overhead trajectory thingy. Should combine that with a side view trajectory and then include all three trajectories (or trajs to TW) for comparison.

Is Fowler gonna wear all orange so he can match the Protracer orange line?

Phil is at +4...Piercy is a couple shots off the lead. Day is the #1 in the world (and they aren't showing him that much).

Sullivan, Landry, Piercy? Where are these guys coming from? Lol Piercy could be about 10-under right now if he could make a 3-footer.

Course playing pretty easy right now. 20 guys under par for their second round....12 of them are 2-under or better.

    • It’s winter here and time hitting at my indoor place.  This year I bought and sold a few sets so I didn’t settle in on anything. For this coming season, starting now I have a choice to make.  What set would you guys use? 1.  Nike Vapor Pro irons - They are like new, hit them some last year before I had to demo other sets.  I love them, original grips, barely used so I’m almost not wanting to use them to keep their value up.  Standard LLL and standard grips. 2. Taylormade P7TW irons - Still in the box.  Got them over a year ago but had too much to hit, never used them.  Have used a set in the past and loved them.  Ended up with my own set custom fit to me -1/4”, 1 degree flat midsize grips.  These are probably not as valuable because they are still available and they are fit to me. I hate to put the Nikes away but it makes more sense to save them than the TW’s…. I dunno….
    • Day 215 (3 Dec 24) - Another very chilly day - opted to work on easy pitches in the backyard. Worked thru the irons and wedges - focused on foot position and tempo.
    • Yes. I believe in using the same ball all of the time, including chipping and putting practice. I use the orange Callaway Supersoft.  Only $25 per dozen, and sometimes on sale for $20.
    • A 5400 yd course is not that short for gents driving it 160 yards considering the approach shot lengths they are going to be faced with on Par 4s.  Also, for the course you are referring to I estimate the Par 4s have to average longer than 260 yds, because the Par 5s are 800 yds or so, and if there are four Par 3s averaging 130 the total is 1320 yds.  This leaves 4080 yds remaining for 12 Par 4s.  That is an average of 340 per hole. Anyway, if there are super seniors driving it only 160ish and breaking 80 consistently, they must be elite/exceptional in other aspects of their games.  I play a lot of golf with 65-75 yr old seniors on a 5400 yd course.  They all drive it 180-200 or so, but many are slicers and poor iron players.  None can break 80. I am 66 and drive it 200 yds.  My average score is 76.  On that course my average approach shot on Par 4s is 125 yds.  The ten Par 4s average 313 yds.  By that comparison the 160 yd driver of the ball would have 165 left when attempting GIR on those holes.
