I guess he now endorses a white shoe law firm or something :-)

I can't imagine it feels good in summer heat.

It's a shame we've lost another habitat for wildlife.

That's a huge misconception.  It actually keeps my face cool in the summer and warm in the winter.  :)

Did the Forestry Service need to approve the shave?

Guess he realized he didn't have the most popular beard in golf anymore. I think that honor's been passed on to Beef.

It seems to have thrown off his timing too.

He has had the Shanks and chipping issues ever since he shaved it off. i think it is throwing off his balance. Coincidence, I don't think so. .

I expect a detailed analysis from both of you on how the mass of his beard changes his center of mass and affects his swing. :-P

Okay so he's used to compensating for the beard weight and is too far back on his heels exaggerating an in-to-out path. Or it may be optics related where his framed view of the ball has been altered (beard as built-in alignment device) so his feel for contact / low point is thrown off.

In reality, I'd expect loss of sleep from newborns is a more likely culprit.

I think that Graham had the chipping shanks prior to shaving his beard.  I think that as a golfer he shaved is because he is a golfer looking for any cure for the shanks.  As golfers, we are all somewhat crazy when it comes to trying anything.

    • Okay I apologize for allowing so much time elapse between my updates but I am resigned to the fact that surgery is definitely needed I have tried everything else and even paid out of pocket for a "PRP" injection I got 2 months ago and the pain is not going away in fact it's been getting worse. I'm either going in late this month or early February to get this taken care of once and for all.
    • Day 172: mirror work for a while during SNF. Working on cleaning up the early backswing stuff. Definitely seeing the improvements I’m looking for.
    • @jxdama: Same dumb schtick since joining. Yup. Also, it's a par-73.
    • Day 97 - 2025-01-05 Showed up to something that absolutely floored me, and then was busy right through to 9:00. So, I got 5:00 in at night, at home, before bed. My rib cage hurts from a cough (ha ha, but also, f***), and I think I have a mild ear infection in my right ear. Things are just f***ing great.
    • OMG Jerry Barber shot -20 back in 1960! Let's go back and time and bitch about how easy it is to play golf. My goodness, Calvin Pete shot a -21 in 1986! Wait a second, David Duval shot -26 back in 1999! Hold up, Ernie Els shot a -31 back in 2003!!!!  (all scores at The Sentry, it is a very easy golf course for PGA Tour players).  The concept that golf in the past is this protecting par or what not is just romanticized BS. Golfer's have been tearing apart golf courses for decades. Let's have a sense of perspective to base our opinions, ok?
