I don't know about streaking, but I know them dang Cap's know how to test their fans :pound:

Happy to see them make it to the second round, but then again, well, maybe it's their year to beat the Pen's :hmm:

Amen, sir, amen!  I'm feeling hopeful (not confident) about the Pens-Caps series.  The Caps scoring is much deeper this season, that was a significant issue in the playoffs last year.  I'm also glad that they had to keep playing for something through the end of this season.  Last year's coasting just didn't sit right with me, it seems really tough for a team to try to get back to intense hockey after a month of having nothing to play for.  It'll be interesting to see what happens, I expect another tough series.  And Game 5 (I'm pretty confident it will be needed) will be played a week from Saturday, while some of the TST folks are in town here.

I'm feeling hopeful as well, but that other team seems to show up in the playoffs, at least against the Pen's, you know the one we usually don't see in the regular season.  And agree that it will probably be a tough series, and of course I'll watch, but more like a scary movie keeping my hand over my eyes. With the games starting at 8:00, hopefully I get up in time for the round Sunday morning.

Gonna be a good one for sure - watching it closely because winner plays my NYR if they get by OTT. Washington had their hands full with an 8 seed but the Pens are banged up. I see it going 7, don't know who takes it.

As long as it goes 7 I could care less. I'm hoping the Rangers advance and find either Pitt or The Caps beat up and bloodied.

Can't say I'm super excited anymore, but I'll probably give the Pens-Caps a look. I'll have to get really creative to root for one of these guys over the other.

Oh boy, game 7 tonight.  Can the Caps dominate like Monday?  Will the Pens get (and convert) on a bunch of odd man rushes, like the first game?  I have no idea what's going to happen, but I'll be riveted to the screen tonight.

Yes sir! It will definitely be an on the edge of your chair game tonight, I would prefer to see the Cap's dominate like Monday, but I'll settle for a win, anyway they can get it.

They certainly seemed to exploit the same hole, high glove, for several of the goals on Monday.  But he watches video too, he'll be working to eliminate the weakness if he possibly can.  Same with the whole Pens team, I also expect a strong effort, along with a few coaching tweaks.   I expect a tight game, or even OT.  I hope my heart can take it!

Even though my Oilers lost tonight, I have to say I'm happy and proud of the strides the team made this season.

Not that I'm going to watch many more games for the rest of the playoffs, but I'm rooting for Nashville until it ends.

Is there a way to give a thumb DOWN?

Congrats to the Pens and their fans, best of luck the rest of the way.

No. Screw this good sportsmanship nonsense.

The idea of rooting for the Senators is a bit of dubious thing, but with Boston and Toronto out, I'm in an anyone but P-burg mode.

Funny pic!  and congrat's to the Pen's, they did what they needed to, and the Cap's, well, do what they always do, just crap the bed when it matters.

I may need to 'borrow' the pic for my avatar...

Put MAF back in goal for game 7   I think he deserves it even though he likely wouldn't be back with the Pens next year

    • Swing check. Cons: The countertop drill hasn't taken yet. Not crazy about A5 to A6 hand path. Pros: Decent BS width at A2 and right elbow at A4. All in all, not terrible but meh..
    • Day 74 (14 Jul 25) - Late afternoon session w/9i, magnetic alignment stick, Divot board and hard foam balls.  Worked on getting the face square at setup and then returning to same through the swing.  The lines on the Divot Board served as referenced parallels for the alignment stick.  Did hit a few balls about 30 total - half with using the alighment stick on the club face and half without.  First time working with the magnetic alignment rod - really reveals when you have the face closed/open/etc.
    • I mean, that is what I figure would be the case.  My mind is just trying to wrap around the idea that 22" left = feet aiming like 15 yards left visually. It's like in a CADD system, if the flag is the base point when you scale an image, it stays in the same spot as you get closer (scale up) or get further away (scale down).  I can image how if you have a 10-yard chip, it could look much more like your feet are aimed nearly 22" left of the flag.  Now I want to try to make some measurements and quantify this 🤣.  Yes, they do. Yea, that is true.
    • Closer to like 22" than 36. Why wouldn't the target line (ball) be at the target (flag) with your feet parallel left of that? Perception messes with a lot of people. Almost all righties tend to aim to the right, because what feels parallel left — particularly given that your eyes are "between" the ball and your feet — feel like they're pointed MILES left even when they're square. Also, there's no rule that you have to be parallel left of the target line. I like to be slightly open at setup.
    • Depends on the lie, pin location, green.  I would say most of my pitches are with my 60-degree.  Its probably like 90% 60-degree, 10% 56 degree.
