I played a round even a little faster than that once. It was before I had a smartphone and it was pouring rain out so I didn't know the time until I got back to my car and was shocked to see how early it was.

I did 18 on an empty course (Exeter CC in RI) in under 2 hours. It was August and it had rained all morning and I got there just as it stopped. I was actually slowed down by the greens crew who were mowing the greens on 3 or 4 holes. It was a cool experience like having my own private course. I remember I played well too and shot around an 82 IIRC. I walked BTW with a pull cart and it was an old style set up where the greens and tees were right next to each other.
