@iacas, speaking of interesting setups with a net, how did your inground net setup work for you guys this year?

It was really nice. Stayed surprisingly dry honestly and in good form. No rust.

That's one way to keep your head from going back.

I need that but in front of my head to help break the bad habit I have of my head moving forward once I reach the top of my backswing/into my downswing

Maybe there's a way to jury-rig a laser, so that when you break the light, it beeps, like for alarm systems.

I think a physical barrier is much more effective as it prevents the undesired motion rather than just tells you you’ve done it wrong.

You don't have a physical barrier when you play, though.

Yes but my take is that if you will do hundreds of reps in a manner that doesn’t allow the movement it will ingrain itself.

There's a lot of trains of thought on that. Ultimately, I think that things that "make" you do something are limited. There are three kinds of training aids, basically: those that make you do something, those that alert you when you do something wrong, and those that alert you when you do something right.

I think a mixture of those along with the use of things like mirrors and videos is the best solution, not just relying on one of those types of things.

I'll give you one guess what I'm hiding from...  burrrr

Thinking very seriously about a Skytrak for the winter setup.

A little snow shouldn't scare you...Send it down to us, we have none.  In fact, I've not lifted a shovel all year.    Is your garage heated?   It looks like the ceiling is tall enough for a full swing.    If my basement was tall enough, I'd buy a Skytrak but I don't want to heat the garage.
