I don't know what his goggles are displaying, but will be cool to see how VR technology progresses.

I wouldn't want to be anywhere near most of my playing partners when they start swinging with that thing on. :-D

I own a Playstation VR. I absolutely love that thing, best gaming experience I've ever had. There's already a view VR Golf games available for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Here's a vid of someone playing The Golf Club VR.

He's pretty good, given that he appears to be hitting right-handed clubs left-handed!

I couldn't watch more than 15 seconds without feeling sick. If that's what VR is really like then it's not for me. I remember some old FPS games that used to have that effect on me, could never play them for very long.

Too bad, it looked pretty cool.

I know what you mean. I'm a bit sensitive to this sort of thing too, but in this case, I think it's probably just because we're not wearing the goggles...we're seeing all of his head movements through a stationary window or "mask", if you will.

That game is cool, BUT HE KEEPS TOSSING HIS CLUB a la Justin Thomas AFTER THE SHOT SO ANNOYING, I'm thinking more in lines of face on and down the line side by side views of you on the screen, sensors telling you when your body parts are moving in the wrong direction.

I felt that way initially. But the feeling went away the more I used it. Now I can play for an hour or two before I need to take it off. I guess it's called getting your "VR legs".

The VR is supposed to be a game, not a swing analyzer. It's not this: https://www.gearssports.com

True, I think the potential is there for instruction though. I wonder what game/app Day was using.

But then why bother with the VR at all? Just attach sensors and hit a real ball with a real club.

I think being able to see yourself through the goggles without having to manipulate any body parts while you swing or slow practice swing can help you figure out how to move. And the sensors will beep when all the body parts are in the place your pro wants them to be.

Yikes, I've felt sea sick for the last 15 minutes, I hope this goes away soon.

I've always had problems with motion sickness.  I'm thinking VR is not for me.
