There's a pretty strong field with DJ, Garcia, Spieth, etc.

Right now, the biggest news is that Spieth is using a different putter!  Not normally cause of comment but he used the old one for so long it raises some eyebrows.  Spieth was apparently a bit testy with all the questions but he had to expect it.  I've been wearing glasses for most of my life, if I suddenly went to contacts, I'll expect to hear about it.

Yesterday an announcer said the wind is a big "affector of the golf ball".  Plus the normal plethora of "golf shot" comments etc.  sigh

I'm watching it on mute for the next 3 days.

I always thought the "mute" button was there for sports announcers.

I guess the new putter wasn't too helpful.  Spieth missed the cut and was -2.199 in strokes gained putting.

Looks like Jason Day is getting his swing changes figured out, and not a moment too soon before the summer majors

Yup.  It's a much more fun golf world with Day and others playing well.  Problem is that Rory and Jordan seemed to be in a bit of a funk.

Good job by Horschel.  Feather in his cap to take on Day in a playoff and win...even if Day three-putted.  First win for him since the Tour Championship.

Fairways and Greens.

Was rooting for Billy the whole time.

One of the best parts of watching this was Jason and Billy just having a great time together during the last round.  That's how it should be.

You can tell that Billy wanted to win on a birdie of his own rather than having Jason 3 putt.

I'm pretty happy about the results of all 3 tourneys.  3 for 3 in being a fan of the winner - Billy, Lexi, Bernhard

But worse than him losing $500,000 dollars, I may have won this week's Fantasy Golf if the Aussie made the dang putt and went on to win!:-P

Agree - If I go by the stats on pgatour.com then Day has made 245 of 247 (99.2%) 3" and less, 43 of 47 (91.5%) 3-4", and 27 or 34 (79.4%) 4-5"

So it is very misleading to include shorter putts into that stat - seeing it laid out like this it isn't shocking that he missed a 4"-ish putt.
