Play Streamsong (with me) December 10-13!

So the skinny is this… I'm looking to put together four amateurs to play Streamsong Red, Blue, and Black December 10-13 in a five-man pro-am. It's mostly for fun, but there are some small cash prizes you can win. The lodging is right there at the Streamsong Resort, breakfast/lunch are included, plus some prizes, tee gifts, etc.

The deets:

• December 10-13, 2017
• $2395 (Double Occupancy)
• Format: 1 Net + 1 Gross Score
• Included:
  • 3 tournament rounds: Red, Blue, Black (carts, caddies extra if you wish to take them)
  • Breakfast and lunch daily
  • Deluxe tee gifts
  • Opening Reception/Registration
  • Prize fund
  • Closing Awards lunch
  • Optional skins game
  • 3 nights accommodations at Streamsong Resort

Deadline for the down payment ($2500 total) is August 10, 2017.

If you're interested, post in this thread. I'll be honest… it's gonna help if you're at least a little bit of an architecture fan. These are some GREAT golf courses that are tough to play, and we'll be staying right there on the property.

Sounds like a ton of fun.  The feedback from my buddies who have stayed and played there is that the golf and facilities are world class.  Unfortunately, this one is right over my daughter's birthday...  

I thought caddies were mandatory, including a shared caddie for those in carts. No?

PLEASE NOTE: The rates shown to play in the Pro-am DO NOT include the cost of taking a pull cart, riding cart, caddie or forecaddie.

• Streamsong®Black (No Carts allowed anytime)
• Streamsong®Blue and Streamsong® Red (Carts allowed after 11:00 am & forecaddie required with cart rental)

You can carry your own bag, too. So people wanting to go on this trip should be able to carry their bag for 18 holes three days in a row.

As we get closer to having four people very interested, and August 10, I'll clarify the caddie policy, but right now my understanding is that caddies are not required. Heck, they're allowing fivesomes with this event, so…

I'd love to go, and Mary Anne has encouraged me, but we've just been awarded three new projects, and it seems doubtful that I'll be able to get away.  Reluctantly, I'm going to have to pass.

It's so close to me, but I can't plan anything with the project I'm working on. That's going to be the final phase of testing, so I doubt I can take time off.

Sorry, I so would do this but I am out. BTW, played Streamsong Blue last week and I cannot agree with @David in FL more. It is a phenomenal piece of land!

For those considering this, it was an absolute blast to walk it. They have push carts super cheap if you do not want to carry on shoulders.

Well, the deadline was extended to August 31, and I'm still willing to go if we can get two more.

But…

I can also attend my PGA Level 3 stuff then (or I can do it in early 2018), so I'm not going to push too hard. If two more people want to sign on to go, great!
