@Groucho Valentine.

I just looked at my league's waiver list and saw Powell was available and projected at 15 this week. This must mean that Forte isn't expected to be available, but does that seem right to you?

Forte didn't practice this week.   He was listed as questionable, even doubtful.

Yeah, but is Powell really a 15-point back this week? ... It just sounds really high to me.

Yeah, he had a knee thing. He was limited in practice all last week. I didn't expect him to play. But I'm sure you know that by now. It was a pretty pathetic week from the offense, so i hope you didn't pull the trigger on powell. IMO, Ryan Anderson and Sefeian-Jenkins are the only Jets worth keeping on your roster, if they are available.

That really did seem too good to be true, but I went and did it anyway. RB is the revolving door from hell for me this year.

On the bright side, the guy that otherwise would have had that spot (GB's Aaron Jones) generated the same crappy 2 points that Powell did and everything else went right for me. 37 points out of LAR's Robert Woods is the big difference maker. I go into tonight with a 20 point lead, Jarvis Landry and Devin Funchess. The oppo has only Ed Dickson.

Baring a disaster, the Creek Crushers will be tied at the top of the East Division by tomorrow morning.

Nice. Ha. I think jones got hurt. Or was that their other guy? I don't remember. I had Robert woods in my lineup too. Never would have even picked him up if it wasn't having other guys on bye week.

I got a 60 something pt lead. I think my opponent has McCaffery and Dickson. Think I'm safe...haha.

Solid double-digits out of everyone else and Prescott bestows a -2 on me last night.

Should have been an easy week and now I've got to hope that Russell Wilson doesn't go off tonight against Atlanta.

Is that guy the Bills threw out there at QB the worst player in NFL history? Its certainly debatable.

Makes me glad I started the Chargers D/ST ;-)

Dak; however, screwed me over, figures.

Wow. That was a -8. Peterman's a rookie and was playing in his second-ever NFL game. Maybe it will get better for him if he gets another chance. Of course, he may not.

A quick internet search suggests a possible worst-ever quarterback performance may have been Detroit's Ty Detmer against Cleveland of all teams in 2001. He threw seven interceptions that day. ... The all-time record for interceptions thrown in a game is by Jim Hardy with 8. He played for the Chicago Cardinals in a 45-7 loss to the Eagles in 1950. Hardy was actually a pro-bowler one year.

Yeah, Dak screwed alot of folks i imagine. It seems like he's just like a bigger version of Tayrod Taylor without Zeke back there.  I got hosed by the Rams Kicker and D. They'd both been money before yesterday. Only got 1 point combined from both of them. Luckily, everyone else i had in my lineup scored at least 17, (Antonio Brown hello!) so I'm good for the win.

I was trying my best to be optimistic last night. My oppo, the Rak-O-Potamus as he is known, still needed 30 points out of Russell Wilson. ..

... That's exactly what he got. 134-133 L.

OUCH! Sorry man. Guy i was playing had him on his bench for some reason. He's had a few 30+ pt games this season.

If it had been anyone besides Wilson, I wouldn't have been nearly as worried.

Real fast turnaround Thursday against the Chargers. In my 10-team league the next best alternative is Jacoby Brisset or Andy Dalton. Here's hoping a bit of Cowboy pride has been hurt and I get a decent effort.

I could not be enjoying this Rams-Seahawks matchup any more.

Currently focusing on: Key 4 - shorter backswing.

They're still playing? It felt like winning the Superbowl two weeks ago as a Giants fan, I just assumed the season was over ;-)

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.

    • I'm currently recuperating from surgery, so no golf, but have been thinking about this quite a bit. This and the don't overbend the right arm thing. It's hard for me to even pose the position, so I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like it's impossible to have the right humerus along the shirt seam and not overbend your right arm, unless your hands are down near your hips. If the left arm is up at or above the shoulder plane and your right arm is bent less than 90 degrees, then your right humerus has to raise or your hands will get pulled apart. Your left hand can't reach your right hand unless either the right upper arm is up or the right arm is overbent. Is that right? If it is, then focusing on not overbending the right arm would force you to raise the humerus. And actually thinking further on it, if you do overbend your right arm, then you're basically forcing your upper arm down or forcing your left arm to bend. Since (for me at least) bending the left arm too much is not something I think I need to worry about, it means that the bend in the trail arm is really the driving force behind what happens to the right humerus.
    • I managed to knock off a 3, a 13, and a 15 a couple of weeks ago. The 3 was a 185 yard par 3 with a 6 iron to 12 feet. 13 was a 350 yard par 4, which was a 2 iron and a 9 iron to about a foot. 15 was a 560 yard par 5 with a driver in a bunker, 4 iron into the semi, gap wedge to 8 feet and a putt.
