I had another great range session building on the progress of yesterday.  Continuing to build on the progress of strengthening my grip. Still have a ways to go to make this grip second nature

Day 11: Half swings at the range.  Everything went wrong - couldn't make good contact even with a half swing.  Glad I practiced, and wil again tomorrow.  Rome wasn't built in a day.

Day 11:  Expanded a bit today. Did the delivering the clubhead COVID drill and don’t love what I’m seeing. Need to work on that a bit. Also did slow swings trying to get my new swing ingrained. I liked what I saw on the slow swings. It gets a little sloppy at full speed.

Day 18: Played 18 holes.  Pretty decent day off the tee, ok putting, dreadful short game.  Also had some trouble advancing the ball towards the green on the first few holes.  Overall, just another day in the life of an 18 handicapper.  However, it was a beautiful morning, my partner and I won the best ball skins game, and I birdied the 18th hole, so still plenty of smiles to go around.

Day 19:  Played 18 holes again.  Had a terrific day off the tee.  Game Golf has my strokes gained somewhere between a 5 and 10 handicapper.  50% fairways, and a few of the non-fairways were still left perfectly fine next shots.  But that's where I had my issues today.  Too many severe mishits on approaches.  And my short game is still terrible.  Plus, 40 putts today.  6 GIR, 4 nGIR, and 2 GIR+1. Those 12 holes combined for 10 over par.  I can live with that until I start putting real work into the short game.  The other 6 holes were the problem for someone hoping to keep that index at 18.  On each of those holes I had the severe mishits, tops, and shanks on my approach.  And then short game issues and 3 putts on top of it.  Those 6 holes combined for +15.  Have to eliminate those mishits, and have to improve my play from 100 yards in.

I do keep in perspective my current anti-handicap was my handicap when this year started.  The first 18 holes I ever broke 100 was at the course I played today not that long ago, literally the best round of my life at the time.  And today, I'm counting up everything I lost on that same course on my way to a 97.  Progress has been made.  Just gotta keep working.

Day 255

Had a brief period today with moderate AQI so kept working on priority piece from my lesson. The feel I have arrived at is my trail elbow moving across my belly button, which clears my left hip and keeps my trail arm from rotating over the lead arm too soon.

Day 64.  Took some time out during work today to go to my indoor practice room to repeat my practice strategy of the past week:  some motions against the wall, then two balls hit (each of which included slow practice swings and very slow backswings, both on the practice and the hit)
