Just curious. What do you all drink during a round of golf?

I'm a gatorade drinker, especially on the hot days. I'm a light weight so I stay away from the beer out there... 2 or 3 and I might be too tipsy to swing... but maybe I'd play better that way...

I drink water pretty much all round each round. Once in a while I'll have a Gatorade, soda, or tea with some food at the turn, but usually just water. I also usually avoid eating anything more than a few crackers or a granola bar which I bring.

I really only get food at the turn and a drink other than water when I'm riding in a cart, which is maybe 10-20% of the time... I try to walk as much as possible, and when walking I just stick with water and maybe a small snack.

Once or twice a year, when on vacation playing my second 18 or in a scramble or such I will have some beer and/or whisky.

Normally I Bring 3 or 4 bottles of water, and buy a sports drink at the turn.

Except for Mens Night on tuesdays, I always drink enough beer that my fiance drops me off and picks me up, lol. Im good for 8 over 18 holes, and another 6 at the clubhouse after, lol

I drink Amino Vital. I started drinking it because I heard that over 150 pros drink it, but I turned out to really like the taste, and it's cheaper than buying a Gatorade from the drink cart. They sell 15 mix packets for $30. Give it a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I went from a 20 handicap to a 2.7 by drinking this stuff!!!

What a gimmick. Golfers really are gullible. To think a drink will help you make a "nine footer" is hilarious. I drink water and on the really hot days (90+) I bring a gatorade with me and mix with water.

I take 1 bottle of water which i can fill back up from taps around the course.

They say golf is like life, but don't believe them. Golf is more complicated than that.

When playing my home course I get a Diet Coke prior to the first tee...nurse it a few holes...refill with water when I pass the water coolers.

I'll refill the Diet Coke at the turn and repeat the water refills on the back nine.

Sometimes I'll refill it yet again for the ride home.

That's a lot of Diet Coke....but I drink a lot of water, too. Usually on days I golf I don't drink cofee in the mornings.....too much caffine doesn't help my game.

Every now and then I'll play a casual round where we may pop the top on a few cold brews......but those rounds are seldom.

Always water and Gatorade. Walking in the Florida heat is tough and water alone doesn't cut it. The Gatorade and a Cliff bar rejuvinate me to a certain extent.

I'm down to a 10 handicap. At this rate, I'll get to scratch at 90 years old!

1L of water, 1 Orange Gatorade

Exact same for me. I used to rock red gatorade for years but made the switch to orange about a year ago and am loving it. It's good to take a swig of water on one hole and then go to the gatorade on the next one. Keeps my tastebuds on their toes.

I bring a 24 oz water bottle that fits into my push cart cup holder, and I refill it from two 32 oz water bottles. Sometimes, I'll mix Trader Joe's electrolyte water in with these. On occasion, I carry a gatorade too - either fruit punch (from mix) or, if I purchased a bottle at the store, Red Drive.

In the summer, I'll often bring an extra 16 oz water to ensure I drink over 100 oz water on a summer day.

Oddly, I don't have to go often when I'm on the course, even when I'm drinking this much water.

Finally, I just purchased a 16 oz water bottle with the intent on bringing protein shakes with me to the course, but I've yet to figure out exactly how to do this.
