As the topic suggests what kind of headcover do people on this fab forum use?

Are we manufacture lovers keeping the Cobra/Titleist/Callaway/TaylorMade etc covers we get when we purchase a driver or..
Are we more novelty (Rory McIlroy has a St.Bernard dog, Graeme McDowell a green dragon, Chris Dimarco a Gator & Mr Woods has his Tiger)

Personally I always used the ones that came with but recently have changed & mine is a fabulous looking Wild Boar!! I love it, gives the bag a much needed touch of personality!!

So dont be shy, whats your preference?

The normal one that came with my Superquad frayed and fell apart, so I dropped $30 on a magnetic Taylor Made headcover. Likely the best $30 I have ever spent on golf. It saves a lot of time and frustration, and it is very convenient.

In my bag:

I have a Michigan mascot headcover on my driver and a Michigan bucket hat with the block "M" on it for my 3-wood.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

I just use the cover that came with the club. If I ever turn pro, though, I'll have someone make a cartoon version of myself to use, like Ryo Ishikawa's.

In my UnderArmour Links stand bag...

Driver - stock headcover and always will be. I will always buy a new driver before the headcover wears out.

I do have a Yankees headcover for my 3 wood - mostly to annoy the Boston fans at the club.

Absolutely! I think Ian Poulter has one, too.

I use no head covers, because i loose them constantly. Also its fun to have them rattle when i walk, just drives people nuts. Nah, i pay attention not to interupt someones swing. But honestly i am surprised my new putter head cover isn't gone yet.

I have a bad habit of losing my manufacturer-provided headcovers, and never getting them back. Right now have a few generic covers on the driver, 3W and hybrids.

Have always been diametrically opposed to novelty covers - they strike me as Dangerfield-esque. But to each his/her own.

I have the cover that came with my driver. The only other club with a cover is my putter, which I keep an old sock over so it doesn't get any more chipped.

In the bag:

    • I have nothing to add other than I freaking love her swing and I think she's hot as hell and some of my golfing buddies disagree so I fought them
    • I’m not sure I agree. It’s just what the majority find more entertaining. Most people prefer women’s gymnastics over men in the Olympics. How much hype is there with the men’s compared to the women’s? I bet you can rattle off several big names in women’s gymnastics and only a handful of men. Women’s tennis …same thing. And sure enough, their purses are the same. However, WNBA, awful…LPGA, not near as much interest than PGA. Don’t think it’s really that complicated IMO.

    • If you walk up to a food/drink kiosk at Magic Kingdom and ask the person for a cup of "magic water" they will give you a small cup of Sprite for free. About 3 fingers worth. They don't sell alcohol at MK anymore so I go over to one of the courses while she hangs out there.
