My golf teacher has been having me hit drives while seated. As I mentioned in another thread, he is not the most articulate guy in the world and I don't even really know what this is supposed to teach me.
He says that when he's having trouble with his swing, he hits a few buckets from a chair to get it back in shape. He says it helps him "take the hit out of his swing".
Anybody do this? Can you help me understand, in a more technical way, what this drill teaches? I tried googling it but didn't come up with much.
oh . .btw . .he can hit drives over 200 yards while seated (he's over 60, too). My current best is just over 100.
