How's everyone feel about their game?

I'm feeling confident at address, like I know I can hit this shot. I've been able to grind out a lot of pars lately and I've been burning the edge of the cup for weeks. I feel like I'm on the cusp of going low...

I'm feeling great about my game. Playing better than I expected this year. Still struggling with driver accuracy...but working on that. Otherwise dreading winter and the golf shutdown that will accompany it.

The last 3 rounds this year were probably the best 3 of my life, those 3 rounds dropped my handicap 2 points, but the season is over for me. Some of the best weather of the year is right now here in middle America, but it is the worst allergy season in years. I can barely walk from my car into work without having an attack. Plus, I am putting in hardwood floors in my house so that project has taken over.

I'm the opposite at the moment. I am going through some changes and sometimes I wonder why I even started making those changes. My handicap has gone up about 4-5 and now I go out wondering what my swing will be today. Thank goodness my short game has stayed pretty steady or I would really be in trouble.

I am feeling good about my game and that makes perfect sense because I have maybe a month left in the season. I've incorporated a lot of the S&T; principles into my game this year and it's finally paying off. My iron play has vastly improved, while my driving has suffered a little, but overaal, it's been an improvement. My putting is really good too. I can't remember the last time I had more than 32 putts in a round. Still would like to get my chips closer though.

Fell exactly the same way. With incorporating some S&T; principles I have never hit the ball better and my last three rounds of 9 have been 47, 46, and 42. It's great to e hitting the ball with confidence. Just wish I could chip the ball.

It's funny, but I first read this like you were practicing putting on your hardwood floors, which made sense because of your allergies.

I am feeling pretty good about the progress that I'm making with Stack and Tilt. By no means am I out of the wilderness yet, but I find that I am putting more good swings on the ball and that my ballstriking is improving.

i'm feeling great right now, i can't wait to get out there again.

I started playing 2 years ago and my average score this year has been in the 102-106 range, my main difficulty has been slicing off the tee. I've put some time in at the range and solved my problem (not closing the clubface at impact) and am now feeling what it's like to release the club through impact and i'm hitting everything straight and 20 yards longer than i was. I played Bethpage Red last weekend and shot a 93. The best part was playing all 18 with the same ball, no searching through the woods. i can't wait to see what this weekend will bring.

I'm feeling really comfortable. My last two rounds have rocked. Played Oakmont CC on Monday (where I played my US Open qualifying) This time I brought it down. Well at least on the back 9. After starting 3 over after four holes, then finishing the front at 4 over with no birdies, things changed on the back. I shot 3 under with five birdies to finish 1 over on the day. The first birdie was rolled in from about 30', the other four were from within 6'.

Yesterday I played my course after having not touched a club since that Monday round (I was caddying for my buddy at QSchool) and shot a tidy 4under. So yeah, things are feeling great!

I'm feeling absolutely great with my game, which sucks since the seasons quickly dwindling down.

shot the best round of the season two weeks ago with 71 on a par 71 course...my driver shots are longer and more accurate than they've ever been. My iron shots have been great...only thing i still lose strokes over is my short game. If i can reduce 3 putts as much as possible and those off chip shots...then i can hopefully get my handicap down even further...possibly down to scratch by next year.

I feel more confident than the results should warrant. My putting and short game is usually fine, it's my accuracy that I struggle with. A two-way miss is not exactly how you spell confidence. I'm not afraid anymore of the bad results though, I'm more focused on how I want the shot to go.

It's mostly getting the swing changes really ingrained, and accepting my limitations when it comes to distance.

I've come to conclude that my game is what it is.....inconsistent. And since I still love to play I guess I feel good about it. I played in a charity event yesterday and putted like ............well, no one I know. Probably could have made Loren Roberts look bad. Drained most everything I stood over. Playing partners were amazed. So yeah, feeling pretty good today!

I'm feeling good. With both mental and physical parts of my game. At the begining of the season I couldn't hit an iron to save my life, after two lessons and a few weeks I can now hit all my irons with consistent distance. I shot a 49 on 9 holes which isn't quite breaking 100 but its close enough to my goal to make me happy.

Had my all time best round today; a 77 which included playing the back nine at even par...which made me wonder who was swinging my clubs today Gee, what two birdies will do for the scorecard. One thing I did today was to absolutely do my tempo count on every shot; it really makes a difference.
