Are You Man Enough???

yea that's right...are you man enough???
spent all that time in the gym, thinking your all ripped up and in good shape?

let me first walk you into what im about to show you
i have been a gym rat since i was 18, and even have 2 years of Kinesiology classes under my belt (dropped out after I realized there was no money in it..anyways...)

before i was 6'2" and WAS about 200 lbs
today i stand 6'2" and 182lbs....and never been in better shape or leaner than i am today
i have been bigger for sure....but never i have i been as lean as i am today

of course a good diet is worked into this, but I have 2 major secrets to tell you that honestly......will probably make you laugh and even question my sexuality
but you know what...i really don't care

ready for it???? here it is.....

laughing yet???? you wont be after you actually try this sh*t out
you have all seen her on TV and seen the Biggest Loser
this is no joke my friends

my workout routine consists of:

Monday-Military style body weight circuit training and 15-20 mins of cardio
Tues-Yoga DVD or 6 weeks to six pack abs
Wed-Repeat Monday
Thurs-day off
Fri-Repeat Tues.
Sat-Repeat Wed.
Sun-day off

I have a few different Military style body weight training circuits I do
I havent used a weight over 10lbs in any workout
Body weight training is THE BEST way to build LEAN muscle and shed body fat

Harvey Penick said it best (dont know the exact quote, but....)
"Quaterbacks make the best golfers, linebackers etc. are muscle bound and can't swing a golf club good enough to create power. Big muscles do nothing but get in the way of a good golf swing."

there you have it.........

If you think your man enough, buy these vidoes, work them into your 5 day workout and literally watch the fat leave your body
And at $12/DVD it's a quarter the price of P90X and IMO a better workout
and can be done from the comfort of your home

Re: Are You Man Enough???

Crap. I just spent all my free cash on the new Club Pro Training system. I heard it helps with alignment on every club and shot and can also be used for practicing putting distance.

Re: Are You Man Enough???

I have actually purchased the Yoga Meltdown and plan to incorporate that. At 6'3" 275 I am built like a linebacker so hopefully this will help. As far as the man enough part....but of course.

Re: Are You Man Enough???

I may try the Yoga one. I think Yoga is a HUGE asset to the golf game. I don't care who teaches it. Personally, I would rather watch her show me what to do than some guy.

Re: Are You Man Enough???

If Jillian was really going to show up at my house I'd give it a try. I just can't get into working out to videos, not even P90

I agree it was tough for me to get "into" it as well
but after a few sessions, it gets easier
really takes the boredom out of working out I find

Re: Are You Man Enough???

Yoga would diffently be something that would benifit my golf game. I played baseball and football and high school. Once out of school I took up beach volleyball and bodybuilding. I can honestly say that big muscles does not make the golf ball go further. I can tell; however, that I do have more distance on the ball when I have been working out. What seems to make the diffence to just hitting the ball flush. The bigger I get the shorter my swing gets which causes me to not hit the ball as well. I think a yoga class would help me a lot.

I'm not as 'man' as Jillian Michaels. That dude is hung.

Re: Are You Man Enough???

I'd rather suggest doing a 5x5 routine and make sure you eat properly.

Re: Are You Man Enough???

Well, I tried it out for the first time last night. It is tough! I added that along with my TPI stuff and it made for a tough night.

I did the Yoga meltdown. I didn't get the abs one because I also have the P90x stuff and that abs routine is a killer!

Then my normal TPI stuff

I'm pretty sure no man is man enough for Jillian.

p.s.  Obvious exception for Jack Hamm

Yoga would be interesting with Jillian. She can bend you in ways that would make Gumby scream.
