Are many of you guys regulars on forums that deal with topics other than golf?

Here are my other favorites:

> UltimatePheasantHunting.com -- My screen name is a slang term for a rooster pheasant and I love pursuing those long-tailed birds.

> PointingDogJournal.com -- You have to be a subscriber to the magazine to get on there. Participation has been dying out recently.

> HardballTalk.com -- A good place for hardcore baseball fans.

> A regional fly-fishing forum that doesn't get a lot of traffic, but contains some good info about places I can get to and back in a single day.

That's about it for me, and I really don't want any more right now. I don't want any new hobbies, either -- the ones I already have are too expensive!

I'm on a pair of forums for two of my cars (my Smart ED and my Kia Sorento), just to stay apprised of things. Very low volume.

Then I'm on a disc golf forum (dgcoursereview.com).

That's about it. Not much time in the day given all I do here (and elsewhere in life, I mean, too).

ar15.com - AR-15 related

Sigforum - like Sig Sauer firearms

1911forum - Yep, you guessed it... 1911 aficionado

Defensivecarry - Slanted towards concealed carrying, firearms, etc

I used to frequent a road bike forum, but have not in awhile.

I also am a member of a maple syrup making forum (typically only active there in the spring though)...... :8)

I belong to way to many forums. Almost all are audio related. I'm a big Jazz fan and I'm heavily invested in stereo gear. Amplifiers, tube and SS, speakers etc. I get pretty involved with audio forums during the winter months. Can't play much golf in northern Illinois this time of year.

I used to hang out on a hockey forum, but after a while I stopped bothering to log in. I still peruse the site in-season as a guest. I like hockey a lot, but it doesn't consume and elevate my soul like golf.

Some of these, I've been on since 2001.

I have a Smoking Meat and BBQ forum thats pretty cool. Other than that its news and finacial sites for work, but I dont really post on those. And seasonally there are some sports forums

I don't know about tricky but I hang out at http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/ They take their bbq at least as serious as we take our golf.
