He’ll fall behind soon enough. 🙂

For sure. He should still enjoy it while it lasts!

Superficially, maybe. But imho once you start deconstructing it his swing is very different.

Meh. You can say that about any similar swings. With the examples cited, I’m sure there are differences. We are talking about different people after all. Nonetheless, they’re pretty similar at least with the vertical backswing and underneath movement. I’m sure there are other similarities (and differences) as well.

The beginning of his swing reminds me of the Youtube guy, Shawn Clement.

Great start to his professional career.

Great career start for Wolff.

I imagine swing coaches across America were hoping this wouldn’t happen so soon.  At least there wasn’t a Wolff/DeChambeau playoff... lol!

So what is he doing, just zero forearm rotation during the backswing to grt the club in that position?

I'll never forget something that Lee Trevino said:  "It doesn't matter how you take it back."

These beards are driving me nuts. Watching Van Royen this morning, then Tway and Wolff this afternoon, I can’t tell these guys apart.

Yay! It has been said out loud in the open. I feel the same way about the hirsute adornment in other sports. The old lady-starter at one of our courses said to our group, "It's so good to see clean-shaven men!" But I am prejudiced b/c the best I could do is a scraggly, wispy little fuzzy thing on my chin. 😏Best, -Marv
