Reed just won.  I am happy for him.

Tony got it back to even going to 18.

Who remembers Tony from "The Big Break?"  What year was that?

Fantastic.  Now Rickie, too.  Tiger's dormie...3 up, 3 to play.  Let's give him the win.  I'm still a nervous wreck.

Unfortunately no such thing as “dormie” anymore.

Please explain.

It was removed from the Rules of Golf with the 2019 changes. Also, you don’t “halve” holes anymore. Even though most of us still use the lingo it isn’t official anymore.

I think that if it ends in a tie, neither team should get the Cup.

Folks, congrats to your 2019 Presidents Cup champs, team Europe!

This has been so much fun tonight. I've watched almost all of the singles, which I was not expecting.

Oh yes!  I'm glued all night.  I'm a nervous wreck now and I'm on the edge of my seat.  I want us to win so badly.  It's a real nail-biter.

Wow!  We can’t lose it now.  But let’s go win it for Tiger.

Rickie just tied his match!  I want a win, not a tie!

I am so disappointed in JT.  He should have made that putt and now he lost.  Cam Smith killed it!

Ok just need half a point from Kuch or Fowler. After all that has happened this year I wouldn’t have guessed I would be rooting for Kuchar...but here I sit.

What a great Presidents Cup. The course was fantastic, the storylines compelling, and the competition was thrilling.

Hats off to the international team for a week well played, but way to go USA for the come from behind victory! Another feather in the cap of Tiger as well.

What a relief!  I'm over the moon.  Ernie's remark really fired me up.

Fowler's dormie now going to 18.

100%!!

By the way, if Tiger hadn't picked himself, I think we would have lost.

    • Hi @RetiredOldMan!  I am glad to see you are still playing and having good scores.  I hope that when I am 79, I am not only able to play, but still able to produce as good scores as you have been doing.   I look forward to hearing more of your success and your opinion of the senior flex shafts.
    • Hello Golfing Buddies, It has been awhile since I posted but I am the Retired Old Man that asked for advice because I suffered two "T.I.A.'s about switching from playing right handed to playing left handed.  I purchased a Callaway Edge Left handed golf clubs. I changed the grips to oversize grips.  Well, two weeks ago and still at 79 years old, I shot a 44 and 47 on a small course in my hometown.  I am currently changing my shafts from regular flex to Senior flex.  So, you can see' it can be done! So, you other old timers; get with the program! Blessings to all of you. Retired Old Man (Terry Warner)

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.
