Oh, yeah. Definitely.

I'll admit to being kinda surprised by this question. It makes me wonder if we've got some misunderstanding of what the Mevo+ is capable of.

In short, any launch monitor that has "sim" capabilities is capable of charting your Shot Zones because playing sim golf means knowing where the golf ball goes. To know where the ball goes you have to know, at a minimum (for realistic stuff):

• Ball speed
• Horizontal and vertical launch
• Spin (RPM and axis)
• Environmental stuff like surface firmness, altitude, temperature, wind, etc.

The Mevo (no +) will do the ball speed, vertical launch, and RPMs. So it can fairly accurately tell you distance, but because you don't line up, it has no real concept of where you started the ball left or right.

The Mevo+ does all of the above and then some (AoA, vertical landing angle, spin axis, spin loft, etc.).

The addition of club data from the Pro Package doesn't change that the Mevo+ already did just about everything it could do to track the ball. Almost none (italics) of the additions to the Pro Package are ball related:

• Club path
• Face to path/target
• H and V swing planes
• Low point
• Dynamic loft
• Vertical descent angle
• Curve
• Speed and acceleration profiles

Even those two italics are just exposed, they were already (internally) measured/calculated without the Pro Package.

Of course, this assumes you hit the ball somewhat like you do in your hitting area. Which is entirely possible if you "picture" hitting a shot toward a target and just make a swing. Your general shots should be the same.

Why do some models have mevo + labeling and some don't? Guessing people were confusing the mevo with the mevo+.

I got one of the first ones and it says "Mevo+" on it.

Maybe that's a pre-production one or a dummy one. The camera doesn't look right either.

I’m not sure which one you watched, I’m guessing they were all the same stream but on different platforms. I watched the replay on Crowdcast because live was painful with it cutting out. The first question they answered was about a discount, which they said the were looking into it, they never said yes for sure. But I’m hoping they do, and I’m hoping for at least a $200 discount.

Yes unless you use the new Titleist balls they developed for Trackman.

I ordered one today. Not sure how much use I’ll get out of it in the winter, but I’m curious to see how well it does in limited flight on my net. Might have to go to the driving range more often.

I’m definitely getting the pro package when that releases. Will the club data be measured? If so, that might still work for me at home.
