Did the announcer just say he thinks Will would have preferred the sand?  Not only is that not true for the average PGA Tour player (if we're going by numbers at least), but IIRC Will is under average for the tour in terms of greenside bunker play.

If we're going to talk about three hole playoffs, can we give an honorable mention to the time Ernie Els was in one, made an eagle and two birdies, and lost?  But I think that was at the ToC not a major.

Edit ignore me, I looked it up and he lost to a birdie on the second hole.  For some reason I thought that playoff went three holes.  If anyone knows what I was thinking of, I'd like to hear about it.
