I am a consultant/program manager in DFW for a LARGE consulting firm. In my non-paid time, I do a couple of mission trips (usually international) a year through my local church.

Hi I have more recently been with Wal-Mart in Seasonal department but am currently unemployed. Hopeful for job interviews...I have on this afternoon. And I get one every week at Canadian Tire. Hopefully something happens soon. Also checking out retail in the golf industry. I know my technology when it comes to golf clubs...especially Adams Golf!

Left the med-tech field after getting unexpectedly laid off twice in 4yrs, turns out putting your life back together after a sudden loss of income takes a while each time. I used to drive a Charger, now I have a PT Cruiser. That's when shiz got real and I said no more lol

Now I'm a 40yr old Ohio State student "working" part-time as a valet. Possibly the easiest paycheck anyone not named Curtis Painter has ever received.

Chiropractor for 32 years and counting. Played my first round in over 9 years two weeks ago. Beat my avid golf best friend by one sinking a seven footer on the last green. :) I'm more obsessed with the game than ever already. Glad to be here. If anyone needs any advice just let me know. Best round in ten years AND undefeated. Lol :-P

I'm an Internal Medicine physician in Spokane, Washington and the US Army Reserves.  I often do Google searches for golf stuff before I buy and keep stumbling onto this site.  It has a lot of great information and I'm sure I will be able to help my game.

    • Going to a Friendsgiving tomorrow and I am bringing a no-bake cheesecake. I make the crust too big, but I think it turned out good. The filling is really good.
    • Sure, but how was your alignment? 🙂 Day 53 - 2024-11-22 Mirror work after getting back home. Wife is a superstar for her career/job/whatever.
    • I would say your back nine is the second nine you play that day. It's part of what makes getting some of those holes tougher. Or, if 18 holes are played pretty often, out of A, B, and C, and you often play A and C, A is the front and C is the back, regardless of the order you play them in. That way not birdieing C #7 isn't overcome by birdieing the easier A #7 on a day you played it C-A instead of A-C. But, at the end of the day, nobody really cares except yourself.
    • Day 128: played 9. Nice little even 9, with 2 birdies and 2 bogeys.
    • @DeadMan, I think your approach makes sense. As @dennyjones said, consistency is the key.
