Yeah, that guess won't work out very well.

More like eight off the cut line.

He turned it around a bit but it wasn't looking good early.

Max Homa looking good so far. Really love his swing.

Adam Scott is the epitome of a guy who passes the eye test but never seems to win anything.

I, too, prefer to forget that Adam Scott won a major.

(Not sarcastic, I do try to forget)

Drivable par-4, hits into a greenside bunker.  Hits out ... into another greenside bunker.  Gets up and down for par.  Not quite Jason Day's adventure in Hawaii a few years ago, but it's something.

Who the hell is Callum Tarren?

The 31-year-old will head to Brooklyn Massachusetts for next Monday after finishing in the top three of qualifying.

Adam is a perfect candidate to join the LIV cash grab.

Korn Ferry Tour graduate, made 7 out of 17 cuts on tour this year, 179 in the FedEx Cup....obvious candidate to lead the toughest test in golf

Insanely impressive par save considering the results of shots 1 and 2

Rory hits a tee shot into the middle of the fairway.  Good, but then the announcer says it's "right down Broadway."  I can only imagine how the locals feel about the comparison.

The coverage just cut to C. Kim's tee shot on the par-3 16th.  I didn't know his name offhand and he wasn't holding a good score, so I immediately called out "watch this, it will be a good shot."

It was not.   That's usually a good bet in those circumstances though.

Hah, I did exactly this, my immediate thought was "was there just an ace in the US Open?"  Then he hit a shot I could have hit.  Followed it up with someone else I didn't know sitting at +4 also hitting into the same rough.

Now I just assume broadcasters love the 16th hole

I both agree and don’t agree — he’s the right kind of guy to grab the cash, but I just can’t see him doing it. He’s got that “I’m too handsome to make mistakes!” vibe

Lingmerth had no bogeys today.

Neither did I, but he played in the U.S. Open today and I didn't play golf today.

    • Agreed on the PT. Unlikely you have a serious injury. Most likely it's just from being tight/out of shape and then doing something athletic. Been there a million times, trust me. PT, light gym work 40 minutes a day really adds up over time. Plus I couldn't do what I do without the aid of my massage gun.  Dry needling can help unlock a lot of this as well, so don't forget about this option for some point down the road.   PS- For the last few years I've seen a DPT twice a week. It's expensive, but I've learned a few things: one of them is his mobilizations of tight areas around my back and pelvis has really helped. Seeing an actual therapist regularly for a few months is a big time advantage. Our bodies are like cars in that we do need to maintain them to a certain extent X amount of the time. I know you know all this already, I'm just reiterating stuff. Hope you're feeling better soon!
    • So, I haven't quit ...just taking a little winter siesta. I have been doing some Stack training and a little office carpet putting with the Pelz Putting Tutor. I'll see where I am in another 6 weeks or so and then maybe look for some instruction.
    • I think it is probably my lack of motivation to work out the past 8 months. I could tell it was starting to act up a bit. Like, one day I was getting some micro-spasms. Bowling just tipped it over the edge.  Its not the worst it has been. Moving around helps out. I just need to do some PT.
    • Day 52: 2/3/2025 I actually forgot to post yesterday even though I did some good stuff. That's my second miss since the streak started, but I think by the rules I'm okay.  Today I got to the range and worked my way through the bag. The range was crowded so I wasn't able to grab any video, maybe tomorrow. I'd like to send some to Yoda as I have another lesson with him the end of next week.  I spent a little bit of extra time with my new PXG Mini-driver.... I like it.
    • Dude, I'm sorry. That sucks.
