Ordered these for my member/guest awards dinner in October. I ordered them a bit early, but the price was right using LM's fathers day deal.

Another cart bag because I just wanted one that was red/white/black and 2 Adidas shirts.

There was also a set of TM Burner 2.0 irons on a ridiculous sale but as I was "thinking" about it walking around looking at other things, some guy beat me to it because I decided to get them, walked back over and they were gone :(.

My local Academy is selling the Nike 20XI's for $30 a box....buy 2 get 1 free. Guess who just paid $20/doz for 3 boxes of 20XI's? hehe

EDIT: Nevermind. Wife just called and said that they won't honor the tag on the shelf apparently. So just 1 box for $30. Stupid.

I was gonna say. My store was selling for 36 a dozen then changed to full price and went to buy 2 get 1 free. It would be awesome to get both deals haha

False advertising if you ask me. I think I'll just be buying my golf supplies from my clubs proshop or online from now on. I've had too many unethical experiences with Academy.

New to the site.

Went to the golf store looking for 1. Irons  2.  Driver  3.  Fairway woods  4.  Wedges.  Putter was no where on the priority list by the way.

First store I went to didnt have what I wanted (I was looking for last years Burner Irons or last years Burner driver, all they had were this year clubs).  Tried the TaylorMade RBZ Irons and Driver and just didnt like them for some reason.

So I drove the extra 40 miles to Golfsmith and tried the SuperFast Burner 2.0 and after the first swing I was sold.  I've played two rounds with it and it has shaved 8-10 strokes off (went from 92-95 to shooting 84 and 85).  Had no idea that my drives were holding my game back that much.  Also, I really liked the price of the new Taylor Made White Smoke putter, so i gave in a bought it.  I putted much better with it today than yesterday, overall I think I'm going to like it but still getting used to it.  Probably shouldve saved the money and waited on the irons that I desperately need but you know how going into a golf store with money in your pocket can be.

My new driver. Beautiful in my eyes. a 9 instead of a 10 [or the 11 in the store] it has a "lite" sticker on the head.. not sure what that means.

Then a Maxfli C3 wide faced putter. looks similar to this one.. cant really get a pic of it right now... but very pleased with it.. my bag is basically complete.. maybe a new wedge will be next.. 56degree or so.

Finally got around to ordering my new bag, the Ogio Ozone XX in the charcoal/burst colors.  Should have it Friday.

Also replaced my 16.5° fairway, and the 21° and 24° hybrids with 15° and 19° fairways and a 23° hybrid.

      Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.

      Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.

      Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere.
