I think the International team would destroy the Americans. I have not seen a lot of LPGA so I may not be the best to answer that, just a gut feeling based off remembered leaderboards.

Would it be better if it was a three team event; Europe vs The USA vs South Korea?

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Probably the same result. International team would be dominant.

Obviously Fox saw the discussions here and proved a point yesterday

Like I was saying he's under the radar but would have played well at the Pres cup ....now maybe  in the top 25 in the world .. will make the next Masters.....

When it comes to motivation, Ryan Fox didn’t glean much from being bypassed for Presidents Cup captain’s pick a few weeks back.

However, as he navigated St. Andrews’ Old Course to the tune of 4-under 68 and a one-shot victory Sunday at the Alfred Dunhill Links, Fox was spurred on by something else: his late pro-am partner.

“To be honest the only person I can really think of at the moment is Warnie,” Fox said on the 18th green afterward.

Fox, the 35-year-old son of New Zealand rugby player Grant Fox, had paired with Australian cricket legend Shane Warne a few times in this event, including last year when the duo finished second. That marked the last appearance for Warne, a regular at the Dunhill Links who died from a suspected heart attack last March at age 52.

“There was definitely some extra motivation there this week,” Fox added later. “Maybe not so much the Presidents Cup, but definitely to try to do something special for Warnie … and I'm pretty proud to have been able to accomplish that.”

Fox, who ended last year at No. 213 in the world rankings, is now expected to rise inside the top 25,

That’s a bit dismissive. Many in Europe have heard about him. He’s a multiple winner, and a multiple top ten finisher on the European tour.

I didn’t think it is. He might be known to hard core European fans, but that’s not “known” or “heard of.”

I know who Sebb Straka is. He’s also relatively unknown.

Yes Foxy has long way to go would need a good few PGA victory's to get L.Ko attention

Lydia Ko is special she has potential to go down as one of the greatest golfers in history when she first hit the PGA scene 11 PGA wins before her 19th birthday(it took tiger till he was 23yrs old to get 11 PGA wins)....Ko has fallen off that  pace of course think she has like 17 to date but she still has the game to add many more victory's at only 25yrs old ..

As you know, I'm sure, the women's and men's games are quite different in that regard.

Thank you, Presidents Cup, for introducing me to Tom Kim. It made watching him win in Vegas today a lot more fun.

I'm a Giants' fan but unlike a lot of Giants' fans, I don't hate the Jets.  The little brothers had a very nice win over Miami.  CONGRATS!!

But then again, what the hell do I know?

Lol, I'm the same way. I actually am a fan of Brian Daboll, Saquon Barkely and YES even Daniel Jones! The guy's got no receivers and he still keeps plugging away!

As for the 3-2 Jets too, this is a great week to be a fan of the NY football teams! Let's try to enjoy this week as much as we possibly can! I said that to all my Giants and Jets fan friends yesterday 😅

And just to keep this mildly on-topic... the Jets and Giants are the Tom Kim of the NFL right now!!!

Yes so you see L.KO record getting beaten soon by another young female player - 12x LPGA wins prior to their 19th birthday ? Personally I think its a pretty amazing record ...

Interested on you thoughts why it's easier for young females to play top level golf Vs mens ? in the PGA

    • A 5400 yd course is not that short for gents driving it 160 yards considering the approach shot lengths they are going to be faced with on Par 4s.  Also, for the course you are referring to I estimate the Par 4s have to average longer than 260 yds, because the Par 5s are 800 yds or so, and if there are four Par 3s averaging 130 the total is 1320 yds.  This leaves 4080 yds remaining for 12 Par 4s.  That is an average of 340 per hole. Anyway, if there are super seniors driving it only 160ish and breaking 80 consistently, they must be elite/exceptional in other aspects of their games.  I play a lot of golf with 65-75 yr old seniors on a 5400 yd course.  They all drive it 180-200 or so, but many are slicers and poor iron players.  None can break 80. I am 66 and drive it 200 yds.  My average score is 76.  On that course my average approach shot on Par 4s is 125 yds.  The ten Par 4s average 313 yds.  By that comparison the 160 yd driver of the ball would have 165 left when attempting GIR on those holes.
    • I don't think you can snag lpga.golf without the actual LPGA having a reasonable claim to it. You can find a ton of articles of things like this, but basically: 5 Domain Name Battles of the Early Web At the dawn of the world wide web, early adopters were scooping up domain names like crazy. Which led to quite a few battles over everything from MTV.com You could buy it, though, and hope the LPGA will give you a thousand bucks for it, or tickets to an event, or something like that. It'd certainly be cheaper than suing you to get it back, even though they'd likely win. As for whether women and golfers can learn that ".golf" is a valid domain, I think that's up to you knowing your audience. My daughter has natalie.golf and I have erik.golf.
