Just purchased the following for post surgery golf being that I am a USAF Veteran I thought they would be appropriate.

Titleist T400 irons. I haven’t gotten them yet, but they are on order!

Bought a US Kids golf set and pink hello kitty balls for my daughter.  It's for her 3rd birthday so i'm just hoping she likes golf as much as her dad.

About 800 multi colored golf tees at a yard sale for $5. Guy had a bucket of tees with no price tag, he said make an offer, I shrugged my shoulders and said $5??. SOLD!

Today I got supplemental stuff:

4 gloves, bag o' tees, a couple of club brushes for my wife and kid so they stop asking for mine, head covers for my driver, 5 wood, 3 and 4 hybrid and putter (all mix and match clubs, only my irons match each other) to keep them from bangin' the crap out of each other when I carry.

I'm not going to treat myself to new clubs until I can consistently shoot low 90's or better. I broke 90 for the first time last week, but hopped back up to 96 and 98 the next 2 rounds.

Went in with the intentions of buying Taylormode RBZ 19 deg hybrid but after trying a few other hybrids and I ended up buying the Adams Super Hybrid and so far I love it.

Yesterday, new shirt and shoes.

Today,  hit a few balls on the computer @ the store.  Swing speed was consistently in the 102-107mph range.  I walked out with a used TM Superfast 2.0 9.5degree.  Traded my superfast 10.5 which i haven't been able to hit since i bought it.

I just picked up another wedge at the local PGA Superstore, a Vokey 58.08. (Old style grooves.) It was used, just $24, but with very minimal wear. I was surprised to see it going for so cheap. A new grip and I walked out of there with a new wedge to add to my set for a little under $30.

I picked up a new pair of Nike Lunar Control spikes (white/black/yellow). They are pretty sweet. Walked 18 today without an issue - which is saying a lot for a new shoe. http://reviews.nike.com/9191/418471/nike-lunar-control-mens-golf-shoe-reviews/reviews.htm Also picked up a couple pair of Footjoy Merino Tour socks: http://www.footjoy.com/catalog/productview.asp?c=343

Nice! I've got the Lunar Control and I love them. I got a bit of blistering during my first round with them, but since that they've been just perfect.

Some zero friction tees (found one on the course and really liked it!)

3 24 packs of budget golf balls for 30 bucks. I think 72 balls ought to last me a round or two.

    • I think so. Might be too much right and not enough left.  I will get more video when I get back home from vacation.
    • Now I know what you mean by "whoosh". I used your approach above this evening and had very good results. I had a few chunks, but didn't have one the rest of the round after using your approach.
    • Day 5 (4/19/21): Did some mirror work this morning. Focused on take away and position at A6. Also, played 9 holes in the evening.
    • 107 (61 front / 46 back).  A Jekyll/Hyde kind of day. Hole 1 tee shot, hard pull left into the azaleas bordering the hole.  From there it went into topped shots, fat irons, poor putting.  Then about hole 13 the swing came around and I finished with bogie average on 13-18.  Nearly all the other holes were double or worse.   The best part of the round, soon to be 5 yr old grandson was killing the ball on all fronts.  His dad wasn’t doing too bad either as he was breaking in his new Cobra driver and putting pretty good.
    • Day 103 (19 Apr 21) - played today w/son, grandson and the missus along as cheerleader.  Was consistent in one manner today - could not find my swing rhythm.  First thing I DID NOT DO was make changes in the swing during the round, but rather focused on staying constant on setup, etc. locking in on what I had been doing.  Finally on 13 it started to feel like I was getting the feel.   Last 6 holes I played pretty much bogie+ golf.  First 12, if I had double it was good. Tomorrow will spend some time on swing tempo.
