I have 2 eagles in a 3 hole stretch. Holed an eagle putt on a par 5, par'd a par 3 and then holed a fairway shot on a par 4. Four under on 3 holes, never happen again......

We have some very reachable par 5's on my home course. I've probably had a dozen or more on this course alone over the last 4 or 5 years.
I've spent most of my life golfing - the rest I've just wasted.

In my bag todayâ¦.

Only had the one and no-one saw it apart from me, my course has a driveable par 4 (the 7th) with a good westerly wind behind you. I have drove the green a few times and this one time I was out for a wee hit by myself, drove to the back of the green and had a healthy 25ft putt downslope from right to left, just gave it a nudge and in it slid. Cue near hysteria from me before realising I had no partner to celebrate with

As per usual, I have never come close to it again

I've had exactly one reasonable opportunity in my lifetime, a twenty foot putt from just off the green on a par 5. (which I reached pin high in two with a thirty mph wind behind me)

Just had my first of the year today. Made a 25 foot, straight uphill putt. Felt great! The green is pretty much all carry (260yards), except for a 7 yard wide strip up the front in between two rather sizeable bunkers.

I can only remember one, but that's not to say I haven't had more. My home course has two very reachable par 5's and one of the other courses has another one, so I know I have had many looks a makeable eagles, just not sure how many I have actually dropped.

Never had an ace, eagled a couple short par 4's and made 20 or so eagles on par 5's.

I checked the 9+ box. I had my first hole in one last year from 182 yards with a 5-iron. I have thrown in 2 times at my current course on par 4s. I have thrown in once on my old course. And my old course had a very short par 5 on number two that we reached pretty much every time we had a descent drive. I probably eagled it 6 or 8 times with 2 almost double eagles. Don't get skewed by these last numbers....the par 5 was a joke, but still a par 5.

I don't know how many eagles on Par 5's I've had but I've had 26 eagles on Par 4's. If it makes you feel any better I have never had a hole in one - EVER. My dad has had 3 and never eagled a par 4.

I've had a bunch, but I remember chasing my first one. I missed a 6 foot slider once before I ended up getting one, that was tough. I've eagled a few par fours, the farthest away was about 80 yards.

I also had a quasi eagle. I put one OB on the 18th of my home course, then decided to let it all hang out and piped a driver, then hit it on close from 220ish. Putted out for my par. While only a par it felt damn good.

I was 14 when I got my first eagle and I honestly have no idea how many I've had throughout my career (40-60 ??). My highlight was back-to-back eagles on back-to-back par 5's last year. On in 2 on 523 and 550 yard holes, a 15 footer and 25 footer later and I was whistling "Yippie-De Doo-Dah" skipping off the green!

my first and only eagle happened this year, about 2 months ago. Par 4 321 yards from second to last tees where I usually play from. I decided to go for driver because I was hitting it good that day, even thought there was water all along the right and the fairway narrowed into about a 20 yard hitting zone. I hit a perfect drive, albeit not that far, to about 40 yards from the green. That hurt me because I was shanking every single pitch shot that day.

All I thought about was not shanking it and I hit it. It was going straight at the hole and I kept yelling "sit SIT!" because I never have backspin. It didn't have to sit. It went straight in. No bounce. That is probably going to be my greatest eagle besides a hole in one.
