about a month i cant remember it though not that special i remember my 1st agle though drove a par 4 in one sank the putt

It was my third round ever----- on a par three. I knocked it stiff from 140 yards, to about six inches (still the closest I've gotten to a hole-in-one). Tapped it in for birdie. I shot like a 112 that day.

Id been playing for about two months. Stuck it to about 4 feet on a really short 115 yard par 3.... and made the putt obviously!

I was 13, the first year I played the "big course." I was never a long hitter, but somehow (three brilliant wood shots) found myself on the green of the par 5 third in regulation. I made a fifty foot downhill left to right putt that is still one of the longest putts I've ever made. It took another three years before I birdied the hole again since they put a pond in front of the green.

It took me about 3 months to get my first birdie.

154 yard par 3 - hit a 5 iron about 10 feet from the pin and obviously nailed the putt. At that point I wasnt thinking birdie - just wanted to putt close enough to guarantee par.

As others have said, I DO remember that first eagle though... blind shot with a 7-iron over a hill... was aiming at a tree behind the green. Looked all over for the ball until my friend grabbed the flag stick.

About two months in, I was at this 170 yard par 3 where I hit my tee shot short and right, leaving me about 40 yards or so to the hole in some deep but fluffy rough. I grabbed my crappy ass hand-me-down 56 degree wedge and holed that sucker for birdie. It wasn't until 3-4 months later that I had my first birdie putt, a 4 footer or so. Both rounds I definitely failed to break 100 though.

Haven't had an eagle yet.

Mine was on a short par 3 (maybe 120) at Quail Valley outside Portland. I had skulled my tee shot up onto the green, and then dropped a 20 foot downhill putt with about 6 foot of break for my birdie 2. That was probably 3 years ago.

I've had so few birdies I can almost remember all of them!

Layed up to a 200 yard dogleg left, then hit a 7 iron into the green, barely even tried to line up my 35 foot double breaker, but as I started walking towards the hole (while the ball was still moving) the putt just started looking better and better until it somehow dropped.

That was my first birdie, I broke 100 for the first time on that round too. By one stroke.

I had been playing for 4 months, and it took 4 more months before I hit another birdie...

man it was a long time ago... i was wayyy younger playing from the fronts... it was shortly after my first bunch of girs... short par 4... approach shot left it really close to the pin for a tap in birdie... best feeling ever

First ever shot on a Golf Course: #1 Miacomet GC, Nantucket. Topped 5 iron into the long beach style grass. Made Double bogey, including an up and down from the sand.

First birdie: Par 4 4th hole (old 9 hole layout) Miacomet GC Nantucket MA. Driver, sandwedge to 6 feet, 18 inch left to right breaker. I think i was about 14, probably my 10th round of golf ever, and every round was spaced out because i played rarely and only in the summers.

First Eagle: Alfred "Tup" Holmes GC, Atlanta, #16. Pulled driver left, blind 7i from 165. Fought with GF because we couldn't find the ball till she looked in the cup.

I was five years old and playing a par three on at St. Croix National. Yes it was a regulation course, and I hit a 5 wood that hit the pin and stopped two inches form the cup. I was playing with my dad's work buddies and I even won the skins for that hole.

first time i ever played golf i was 12 years old, i had 1 birdie and two pars, i got the birdie on a par three. I didnt even know what a birdie was! I was playing with a friend and his uncle, for my first time.

My friends uncle drove me home after and insisted on coming up to the house. When he came in he told me dad to go buy me golf clubs, right then. My dad had no idea what a birdie was, but he followed my friends uncles advice. Here i am almost 5 years later :)

Oddly enough yes... I was seventeen years old playing at Glen Abbey Golf Club (home of the PGA Tour's Canadian Open) with my friend. It was on the 143 yard 3rd hole, a complete carry over water to a narrow green. I hit my Wilson Staff 7 iron to about 12 feet below the hole, and made the putt with my Titleist Bulls Eye putter. Incidentally, My friend went on to win a golf scholarship and now is a Head Pro at a private club in Kentucky.

Mine was at a par 3 course and I putted one in off the fringe for birdie, couldn't say how long I'd been playing. Prior to that I chipped in for a bogey on a hole that I hit the first one about 20 yards and onto a road out of bounds so if you don't count the first drive and the penalty that would have been my first birdie, still felt pretty cool because it was first chip in too.

I only remember my first eagle. It took a bit over 3 years to occur and a year and a half more to duplicate.

I hit a good drive on the 12th hole of the course where I work. Hit a 7-iron in to green, pin high about 15 feet. Hit the putt and didn't even realize it was a birdie until someone said, "Good bird."
