How many balls did you lose today?

Didn't lose one yesterday, which is only the second time I've been able to do that. Played a Bridgestone e7 and it still looks perfect, tough ball for sure, I'll probably keep it in the rotation for a few more rounds.

Played a 36 hole tournament, lost one ProV1x after 6 or 7 holes. Played the rest of that round and today's 18 with another Pro V1x. It's pretty beat up by now but it was working fine.

lost a ball on the putting green ...then shot 2 over for my first round in a month in a half. i was pleased that i could still make pars and birdies and i didnt lose a ball

Not trying to hijack the thread but you should put a poll with options 0-7(?) and see what people put.. I lost three today, but still barely pulled off a 77. +5.

I'm not sure why this would need to be a poll, but I am sure your listed handicap is wrong.

I lost 2 last time I played. One I pull-hooked OB, one that just disappeared in the middle of a fairway. I pulled my drive, hit a 5i from the rough and watched my ball bounce twice on the edge of the fairway about 10 yards short of the fringe. I got up there and I and my playing partner couldn't find the ball for the life of us. I SAW it land and bounce TWICE. I can't understand how we couldn't find it.

Normally, pretty rare these days for me to lose a ball on the 9-hole courses I play, as my play has improved a lot in the last year.

Hope to be playing West Point, N.Y., later this month — that should be a good test...

West Point's tight tee boxes with trees/deep undergrowth/forest are ball swallowers.
Your ball goes in; it never comes out. (Unless you like to take chances with poison ivy. Bears anyone? [And no, we are not armed, just guests.])

I was thinking the same thing Sean (that's scary). You got to figure 3 lost balls usually would add up to be about 5 strokes or so when you really think about it. I'm a 10hc and when the rare time comes when I shoot 77.......the biggest reason is because I avoided penalties!

Since everyone is posting scores too, I shot 84-79 on those 2 rounds.... seems to be an exceptionally low scoring ball.

found a brand new pro v1x on the 10th hole last weekend, and i've been playing it ever since (45 holes). I think it needs to be retired...maybe I'll frame it ;)

Played on Saturday (I am a weekend warrior) I lost 2 on 9 holes walking.

I think I lost about 7 balls today. It was a new course for me and man, was it tough for me. I hit a few shots that looked like they went right now the middle of the fairway, but the wife and I couldn't find them. Maybe it was the ball fairy taking them away. Can't figure it out. I also don't look very long for a ball on a popular course. You know, golf etiquette.

Looks like it was just taken out of the box. Not a single scratch on it.
