I got you.  I've seen guys who will keep it hanging from their back pocket the entire round.  On the tee, on their approach, etc.  And not a small towel.  Like half a bath towel.  It's pretty funny.

I have a frogger attached to my bag. But I also put a big Yankees towel in my back pocket while on the green. Actually I just drop it on the green so my red sux loving playing partners have to stare at it and my Yankees ball marker when putting.

I play with a mate multiple times a week who has a pretty high ball flight and mine is slightly lower than normal. No big deal really as far as im concerned. Ive learnt to play with a lower flight. But every second or third shot he'll say 'ooo thats a bit low' or something along those lines when really ive been hitting the same shot for 6 yrs lol gets annoying sometimes

Give him a taste of his own medicine.  Especially if you get a chance to play with him in some windy conditions.  Every other shot, "ooooh ouch, you really got that one up high in the air!"

The guy who takes 3 mulligans at the tee box who after putting out tells me to "put him down for a par" on the hole and how he "didn't think he'd get me on that one".  Really, you hit three tee shots and you not only want to record par as your score on a Par 4, but you want to brag that you beat my legit bogey?

Next round you should just take a mulligan on almost every shot. Shoot under on the course and maybe he'll see what its like. miss a 20 foot putt. Mulligan, pass that ball back over here please, I wanna take another shot.

Good point.  Everything between shot #4 and #8 was probably pretty awesome.

I play by myself a lot too. I don't think a single should be pushing a foursome. According to the USGA section on etiquette "a single has no standing on the course" I try to lay back and get some practice in with putting and chipping. I'm wondering if anybody's pet peeve might be singles running up behind them ticked off and wanting to play through.
